Product Description

It can test the power level of all 1.5V, 9V, and 1.5V micro cells as well as the battery capacity of all different battery types (AA, AAA, C, D, and mini cell). It has an easy-to-read display where each digit represents the power level. In a single unit, it can test batteries of various sizes. (1.5V: AAA, HP16, MN2400, R03, AA, HP7, MN1500, UM3, C, HP11, MN1400, SP11, LR14, UM2, D, HP2, MN1300, SP2, R20, UM1; 9V: PP3, MN1604, 6F22, 006P)

Note:

  • Read off the LCD for 1.5V and 9V batteries.
  • Read off LCD for 1.5V tiny batteries.
  • Before presuming that an LCD is fully dead, make sure the battery is hitting both contacts if it doesn’t display.
  • The battery being tested initiates the battery tester. Reduce test durations as much as you can to prevent needless battery depletion.

What’s Included

  • Battery Tester x 1

How to use the battery tester

The battery tester is simple to use. Place the battery in the slider of the tester. And the display will display the capacity of your battery. Make sure that both ends of the battery tester are touching the contacts before assuming that the LCD is dead. The battery tester is powered by using battery cells.

FAQs

What is the purpose of a cell voltage test?****

An electronic tool called a battery tester is used to check the health of an electric battery. It can range from a straightforward instrument for checking the charge that is actually present in the cells and/or its voltage output to a more thorough test of the battery’s condition, including its capacity for accumulating charge.

What is the normal voltage per cell?****

This indicates that the cell’s maximum voltage is 4.2 volts and that the “nominal” (average) voltage is 3.7 volts. The voltage will decrease as the battery is utilized until it reaches its lowest point, which is about 3.0V. On the battery itself, you should be able to see the number 3.7V inscribed someplace.

Is 12.2 volts a good battery?****

The battery can still start your engine at 12.4 volts because it is still regarded to be 75% charged. A poor battery is one that may start your engine but is no longer able to maintain a charge when the voltage drops to 12.2 volts without the engine running.

How do I know if my dry cell battery is healthy?****

Check the reading by placing the black probe on the battery’s negative terminal and the red probe on its positive terminal. A voltage that is weak and has to be replaced is one that is less than roughly half the battery’s rated voltage.

What are the 2 types of battery testers?****

The capacity of a battery is tested using electronic and digital battery testers.

How do you tell if a battery is good?****

Drop each battery from a few inches up (with the flat, negative end down). The battery should make a loud thump and probably stay upright if it is fully charged. But if the battery is dead, it will soon bounce and topple over.

Do battery testers actually work?****

It’s simple to determine if a battery is dead, and most testers are 100% accurate. The difficulty lies in assessing a battery’s performance between 80 and 100 percent when it is in use.

What is a battery cell tester?****

Electronic tools called battery cell testers are used to check the health of an electronic battery. Batteries can include a single cell or several cells. A single anode and cathode that are separated by electrolytes and utilized to generate a voltage and current are referred to as a cell.
