System Installation

Monitor Installation and Recharging

  1. Place the monitor on the driver’s dashboard or hold it onto the windscreen without affecting your vision. Make sure it is securely fixed and will not drop off while driving.
  2. For first-time usage, charge the monitor using the mini USB power from the accessories pack. The battery indicator will flash while charging and remain still after fully charged.

Signal Repeater Installation
It is recommended to install the repeater near your rear lamp and connect it to the lamp cable to get power. Alternatively, you can install the repeater in the middle of your vehicle for convenient power access.

Factory Default Settings
Your system comes with the following factory default settings:

  • Pressure Unit: PSI (BAR or PSI selectable)
  • Temperature Unit: °C or °F selectable
  • High Pressure Alert: 150 PSI (10 BAR), selectable for each axle individually
  • Low-Pressure Alert: 35 PSI (2.4 BAR), selectable for each axle individually
  • High Temperature Alert: 70°C (158°F), selectable

Alert Settings
To set the high-temperature alert, follow these steps:

  1. In display mode, press the SET button for 3 seconds and release after a beep to enter SETTING MODE.
  2. Short press the SET button to select from the 19 available items.

To set the pressure unit:

  1. The first screen display is the pressure unit setting. The current pressure unit (PSI or BAR) will flash.
  2. Press the + or – button to select the desired pressure unit.

To set the temperature unit:

  1. After setting the pressure unit, shortly press the SET button to select the temperature unit from Celsius or Fahrenheit by pressing the + or – button.

To set the high and low-pressure alerts for each axle:

  1. After setting the temperature unit, shortly press the SET button to enter the pressure alert setting. The 1st axle tire and High Pressure will flash on the screen.
  2. Press the + or – button to select the suitable alert data for each axle.

After setting the high-pressure alert for the 1st axle, shortly press the SET button to set the low-pressure alert for the 1st axle. Press the + or – button to select the desired pressure data for your vehicle.

System Installation

  1. Monitor Installation and Recharging
    The monitor should be placed on the driver’s dashboard or held onto the windscreen without affecting your vision. Please make sure the monitor is well-fixed and cannot drop off while driving. For first-time usage, please charge the monitor with the mini USB power from the accessories pack. The battery indicator will flash while charging, and keep still after fully charged.

  2. Signal Repeater Installation
    It is recommended to install the repeater near your rear lamp and connect it with the lamp cable to get power or install the repeater in the middle of your vehicle where it is convenient to get power.KORMATE-GT6-Tire-Pressure-

Your system has been set in the factory as the data below. You could still reset your alarm parameter according to your tire condition.

Alert Settings

All the alert settings are in the sequence below.

The setting steps are as below.
In display mode, press the button SET for 3 seconds and release after a beep to enter SETTING MODE. Short press the button SET to select from the above 1~19 items.

  4. High & Low Pressure Alert Settings from 1st ~ 8th axle

    • After setting the temperature unit, shortly press the button SET to enter the pressure alert setting. The 1st axle tire and “High Pressure” will flash on the screen. Press the button + or – to select the suitable alert data for each axle.KORMATE-GT6-Tire-Pressure-Monitoring-System-fig- \(10\)
    • After setting the high-pressure alert on the 1st axle, shortly press the button SET to set the low-pressure alert on the 1st axle. Press the button + or -to select the desired pressure data for your vehicle.KORMATE-GT6-Tire-Pressure-Monitoring-System-fig- \(11\)
  5. Repeat the above steps for the 2nd ~ 8th axle.
    After setting the pressure alert on all axles, shortly press the button SET to set the High-Temperature Alert. The current high-temperature alert will be displayed on the screen. NOTE:
When you finish all the settings for your new system, hold the button SET until the monitor beeps, and you are back to display mode. This is the last step to set all the parameter settings into memory. The system will return to normal display mode if there is no operation within 1 minute during parameter setup WITHOUT saving the settings!

Sensor Programming

  1. Table Top Programming

    • STEP 1: Set the monitor flat on a table. Then set the first sensor on the table touching the base of the monitor.
    • STEP 2: In display mode, press and hold the CODE button until the monitor beeps and all 35 tires are displayed on the screen.
    • STEP 3: The front passenger side tire will be blinking. Shortly press the button CODE and release, you will hear a beep and a random code such as “0aF6H2” will be displayed. That sensor is programmed.
    • Step 4: Press button + to move to the next tire and repeat step 1~2 to program the next sensor.
    • STEP 5: When you’ve programmed the last sensor, press and hold the button CODE until the monitor sets off the alarm, press any key to stop the alarm. You can now install your sensors in your vehicle. Note: If the sensor code is not displayed during or after installation, please repeat SETP 1 and 2 above.
  2. Match Sensor with Monitor by Inflation

    • STEP 1: In display mode, press and hold the CODE button until the monitor beeps and all 35 tires are displayed on the screen. The front passenger side tire will be blinking.
    • STEP 2: Shortly press button + to select the desired tire.
    • STEP 3: Install the external sensor onto the desired tire, or inflate the tire for the internal sensor. you will hear a beep and a random code such as “0aF6H2” will be displayed. That sensor is programmed. STEP 4: Repeat the above Step 2~3 for the other tires. Hold and press the button CODE until the monitor beeps to set all the sensors’ code into memory. The monitor will return to display mode to show the tires’ pressure and temperature one by one.
      NOTE: The monitor will return to display mode if there is no operation within 30 minutes during the Inflation mode without saving the programming.
  3. Delete Single Sensor ID

    • STEP 1: In display mode, press the button CODE and release after a beep to enter Program Mode.
    • STEP 2: Press the button + or – to select the desired tire icon.
    • STEP 3: Press the button SET until you hear a beep and a “——– ” will be displayed on the tire data area to indicate the desired sensor ID is deleted.
      NOTE: After deleting the desired sensor(s) ID, press and hold the button CODE, and release after a beep to set the program into memory.
  4. Lost sensor ID
    If the monitor has not displayed a sensor’s information for more than 30 min, there will be a double beep and a “——– ” will be displayed on your monitor.
    NOTE:

  5. Please stop the vehicle in a safe area and get out to check the tire and sensor.

  6. Please try to match the sensor again with the monitor or contact with your local distributor.

Show or Hide Truck or Trailer

  1. Show/ Hide Truck
    In normal display mode, press the button SET and + simultaneously to hide the truck. Or press the button SET and + simultaneously to show the truck.

  2. Show/ Hide Trailer
    In normal display mode, press the button SET and – simultaneously to hide the truck. Or press the button SET and – simultaneously to show the truck.

System Alerts

  1. High Pressure Alert (Factory Default: 174 PSI)
    Eg.: While the left front tire on the 1st axle pressure is 177 PSI, the alert tire, current pressure data and alert icon flash, and a “High Pressure” will be displayed on the screen.KORMATE-GT6-Tire-Pressure-Monitoring-System-fig-

    NOTE: Press any button to stop the alert beeps, but the pressure data, alert icon will still flash till the tire pressure returns to normal condition.

  2. Low Pressure Alert (Factory Default: 116 PSI)

  3. High Temperature Alert (Factory Default: 70℃/158℉)

  4. Fast Leakage Alert

  5. Sensor Low Battery Alert

    NOTE: Press any button to stop the alert beeps, but the low battery and alert icon will still flash till the battery problem has been solved. Please replace a new battery for the external sensor, or replace a new internal sensor to ensure safety driving.

  6. Monitor Low Power Alert
    When the monitor has low battery voltage, the monitor battery icon and alert icon flash on the screen. Cautions

  1. The tires’ temperature and pressure will increase while driving. The vehicle should be stopped in a safe place if there is a high temperature or high-pressure alert in case of a break problem or flat tire.
  2. The driver should stop the vehicle and get off to check the tire if there is a fast leakage or if the pressure goes up quickly in the tire.
  3. Please inflate the tire when the tire is under pressure, and deflate the tire when the tire is under pressure.
  4. After the system is installed correctly, it will alarm when there is abnormal tire pressure/ temperature, the driver does not need to stare at the monitor all the time while driving.
  5. Please use the system in appropriate conditions, any consequence caused by misusing is not liable for the distributors or the factory.
  6. Installation of the system should strictly follow the user guide, any breakage caused by improper installation is not liable to the distributors or the factory.
  7. Please set the alert data according to the actual vehicle type according to the suggestions of your local distributor. Usually, the system has been set up well in the factory. Any improper settings out of the factory default settings are not liable for the distributors or the factory.
