Cubico Android on PC

Note: A plastic tab was attached to the toy for in-store demonstration purposes. While the tab may have already been removed, check the back of the toy to be sure. If the plastic tab is still attached, open the fasteners on the back of the toy and pull to remove the tab. Close the fasteners and throw the plastic tab away.

BATTERY INSTALLATION

  1. Use the phillips screwdriver to open the battery cover on the back of the coding tray.
  2. Place the two AAA batteries (not included) in the correct orientation.
  3. Close the battery cover with a Phillips screwdriver.

HOW TO OPERATE THE CODING TRAY

  1. Put the batteries in the coding tray and turn the power switch to the ON position.
  2. The LED on the front of the tray will blink when the power is turned on.
  3. When you are not using CUBICO, you can save the battery by turning off the power switch.

CONNECTING CODING TRAY

  1. Enable Bluetooth on the device that has installed the CUBICO app.

  2. Make sure that the LED on the front of the coding tray is blinking.

  3. When you run CUBICO app, the coding tray and the device are connected automatically.

  4. When the coding tray is connected to the device, the LED on the front will stay on without blinking.

  5. If the above screen appears, the coding tray and the device are not connected.

  6. The coding tray will automatically reconnect if it is restarted.

  7. If the coding tray is not automatically connected after restarting, check if Bluetooth is enabled on the device.

HOW TO PLAY CUBICO

  1. Press the CUBICO AR button to activate the AR camera
  2. You can enter the stage with the hint video clip by scanning the cover of a stage board with the AR camera
  3. Spread out the stage board and precode using the CUBICO arker and the Paper Coding Chips
  4. Place the real Coding Blocks in the Coding Tray as you precoded to program the characters’ movements
  5. The character will move as you coded if you touch the play button
  6. You can customize your character by pressing the CUBICO PLAY button and scanning the character chip. Try playing the game with your own character
  7. After completing all the stages, you can manipulate the various machines through the Inventor games
  8. Press the SING SING CODING SONG button to learn the basic concepts of coding through exciting music video clips

Battery Warning

  • Only for electric toys using rechargeable batteries.
  • Inserted with the correct polarity (+ and – )
  • Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the product.
  • Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
  • Dispose of batteries properly.
  • Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
  • Use only batteries of the type recommended.
  • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
  • Do not mix old and new batteries.
  • Remove batteries from coding tray if coding tray will not be used for a long period of time.

  • Changes and modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
  • It is desirable that it be installed and operated with at least 20cm or more between the radiator and person’s body (excluding extremities hand, wrists, feet, and ankles)
