Knot Name Description
Overhand Knot A basic knot. Tie it with one or more cords.
Lark’s Head Fold cord in half and place over holding cord. Pull loop down

behind cord and pull cord ends through loop. The reverse version is also shown.
Half Knot| Cord 4 goes over 3 and 2 and under 1. Cord 1 goes under 2 and 3 and up through loop. Pull tight.
Square Knot| Tie a half knot. To tie a second half knot, cord 1 under 3 and 2 and over 4. Cord 4 over 2 and 3 and down through loop.
