Product Usage Instructions

  • Warning

    • Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, flat, strong enough, and 1/4 larger than the canopy on all sides.
    • Correct any gaps between the mounting surface and canopy exceeding 3/16 as required.
    • Make sure the ceiling or wall can support the weight of the lamp before installation.
    • Use a voltage of 120V and do not exceed the maximum wattage of Type B, Max 40W per bulb.
    • Keep the lamp away from acidic and alkaline substances to avoid damaging the surface.
    • When replacing bulbs, turn off or unplug the lamp and wait until it cools down.
    • Use common sense, caution, and care when dealing with electrical products.

  • Assembly & Installation Instructions
    • Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts and accessories are included.
    • Turn off the power before starting the installation.
    • Unscrew Knob nuts (F) from the back plate (E) and single bar (C), then set them aside for later installation.
    • Secure single bar (C) to the outlet box with mounting screws (A).
    • Make wire connections according to the provided chart, ensuring to connection of ground wires properly.
  • FAQ
    • Q: What should I do if my mounting surface is not clean or strong enough?
    • A: It is important to have a clean, dry, flat, and strong mounting surface. If your surface does not meet these requirements, you may need to make necessary corrections or choose a different location for installation.
    • Q: Can I use bulbs with higher wattage than the recommended maximum?
    • A: No, you should never exceed the maximum wattage of Type B, which is 40W per bulb. Using higher-wattage bulbs can lead to overheating and potentially cause damage or fire.
    • Q: Can I install the lamp on a slanted ceiling?
    • A: The product is designed for installation on flat surfaces. Installing it on a slanted ceiling may compromise its stability and safety. It is recommended to install the lamp on a flat and sturdy surface.

Safety Instructions

  1. We suggest installation by a licensed electrician.

  3. Before you start, NEVER attempt any work without shutting off the electricity until the work is done.
    • Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your home.
    • Place the main power switch in the “OFF” position.
    • Place the wall switch in the “OFF” position.
  4. Mounting surface should be clean, dry, flat, strong enough and 1/4” larger than the canopy on all sides. Any gaps between the mounting surface and canopy exceeding 3/16” should be corrected as required.
  5. Make sure that the ceiling or wall can stand the weight of the lamp before installation.
  6. Make sure the voltage you are using is 120V. The maximum wattage is Type B, Max 40W per bulb.
  7. Keep the lamp away from acidic and alkaline substances in case of damaging the surface of the lamp.
  8. When replacing bulbs, you should turn off or unplug the lamp and you must wait until it is cool as bulbs get hot quickly.
  9. The safety instructions appearing in this manual are not meant to cover all possible conditions that may occur. It must be understood that common sense, caution and care must be used with any electrical products.

ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts and accessories are included as shown in the above illustration.
  2. Turn off power Before you start the installation, NEVER attempt any work without shutting off the electricity until the work is done.
    • Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your home.
    • Place the main power switch in the “OFF” position.
    • Place the wall switch in the “OFF” position.
  3. Make assembly
    • Step A1 »
    • Unscrew Knob nuts (F) from back plate (E) and single bar (C), then set them aside for later installation.

    1. Secure single bar (C) to the outlet box with mounting screws (A).
    • Step A3 »
    • Make wire connections Connect wires as below wires connection shown. PLEASE NOTE THAT GROUND WIRE IS BARE COPPER WIRE, NEVER CONNECT OTHER WIRES TO GROUND WIRES.
    • Twist wires together with plastic wire connectors until tightly joined, and wrap each connector with approved electrical tape. Be sure that no wire strands are exposed and then carefully tuck all wires into the outlet box.

    • Place back plate (E) on the wall and secure back plate (E) in place by tightening knob nuts (F) onto the pre-assembled threaded nipple on the single bar (C).
    • NOTE:
    • The back plate (E) should be snug against the wall with a cap nut (F).
    • If not, adjust the threaded length of the pre-assembled threaded nipple on single bar (C) by unscrewing the pre-assembled hex nut and then screwing the preassembled threaded nipple in or out of single bar (C) until the secure length is achieved.
    • Tighten the pre-assembled hex nut and back to step A4.

    • Install bulbs (Not included) (Please do not exceed the maximum wattage recommended on the socket.)
    • Hang glass sheets (H) on the lamp body (G) from inside to out as shown in the illustration.
    • Check everything is installed properly, then you can turn on the light. Enjoy!

CLEANING

To clean, wipe the fixture with a soft cloth. Clean glass with a mild cleaner (such as mild and non-abrasive soap). Do not use abrasive materials such as scouring pads or powders, steel wool or abrasive paper.
