Operation
Installing

  1. Remove all packaging and transit protection materials before assembly.
  2. Check the heater for any damage after removing it from the packaging. If unsure, do not use the appliance and contact qualified service personnel.
  3. Unscrew the pre-installed M8 screws and washers from the base.
  4. Insert the rear base into the slots of the front base along the arrow direction. Push on the rear base to fix it. Attach the M8 screws and washers.
  5. Attach the tank cover to the slots in the housing side sections.
  6. Install 1 AAA battery (not included) in the ignition button. Replace the ignition button cap by rotating it clockwise.

Get Started

  1. Open the valve on the gas cylinder.
  2. To turn on the heater, rotate the control knob to the desired temperature setting.

Gas Cylinder Installation/Replacement

  1. The appliance should only be powered with LPG gas from a cylinder less than or equal to 15 kg.
  2. Ensure the regulator is EN16129 approved and the hose is EN16436-1 approved with a length of 50 cm.
  3. Connect one end of the hose to the pressure regulator and the other end to the tap, ensuring tight connections with no damage to any component or fitting.
  4. Before connecting the cylinder, make sure its tap is closed and there are no open flames or sources of heat nearby. Screw the pressure regulator onto the cylinder.
  5. Attach the regulator to the tap and tighten the nut anti-clockwise.
  6. Check for gas leaks by applying a soapy water solution to the connection. If bubbles form, tighten the connection or seek professional service.
  7. Place the cylinder in its compartment, ensuring the tube is not twisted or choked and does not touch any hot parts.
  8. Align the rear cylinder cover onto the main body.
  9. When replacing the cylinder, ensure its tap is closed and there are no open flames or sources of heat nearby.

  • Position the heater so that the heat is directed towards the center of the room and, at any rate, towards an open space; the front (radiant) part must be at least 2 meters from curtains, sofas, furniture or other objects.
  •  After use turn off the appliance at the gas container valve.
  • The room where the appliance is installed must have enough air circulation for normal ventilation and combustion.
  • Advice that the appliance shall not be used in high rise flats, in basements, bathrooms or bedrooms;
  • The guard on this appliance is to prevent risk of fire or injury from burns and no part of it should be permanently removed. It doesn’t give full protection for young children or the infirm.
  • Do not move the appliance when operating, shocks and bumps may activate the safety device.
  • Do not operate the heater with the gas cylinder outside of its compartment.
  • The appliance should be 1 meter from the side wall.

OPERATION

Installing:

  1. Before assembly, make sure all packaging and transit protection material is removed.
    Note: After removing the heater from its packaging, check it for damage: if you are unsure, do not use the appliance and contact qualified service personnel. The packaging materials should not be left within the reach of children because they are potentially dangerous; dispose of them in conformity with the local regulations.

  2. Unscrew the 2pcs M8 screws and washers which were pre-installed on the base.

  3. Insert the rear base into the slots of front base along the arrow direction. Push on the rear base to fix it. Attach 2 pcs M8 screws and washers.andersson-BEH-G2000-Blue-Flame-Heater-IMAGE-5

  4. Attach the tank cover to the slots in the housing side sections.

  5. Install the battery
    Remove the cap of ignition button by rotating it anti-clockwise. Install 1 piece AAA battery (not included). The negative end of battery goes in first. Then replace the ignition button cap by rotating it clockwise.

Get started:

  1. Open the valve on the gas cylinder.

  2. To turn on, rotate the control knob to the ignition position . Push down fully on the control knob (this will allow gas to flow from the pilot and the burner). While still holding down the control knob fully, immediately push the “IGNITION” button to light the heater.

  3. If the pilot does not ignite, release the control knob and “IGNITION” button, wait 30 seconds and repeat the procedure.

  4. Once the pilot is lit, continue to hold the knob for 20 seconds until the heater remains lit.
    Note: Do not hold the knob for longer than 40 seconds.

  5. Push down and rotate the control knob to (Max) or (Min) position to ignite the big blue flame.
    Note: Do not move the heater when it is operating.

  6. To turn off, push down and rotate the control knob to the ignition position “ ”, and then completely shut off the valve at the gas container.

Gas cylinder installation/replacement:

  1. The appliance must only be powered with LPG gas less than or equal to a 15 kg cylinder.
  2. The regulator must be EN16129 approved and the hose must be EN16436-1 approved with a length of 50 cm.
  3. Connect one end of the hose to the pressure regulator and the other end of the hose to the tap. Make sure that the connections are tight and there is no damage to any component or fitting.
  4. Before connecting the cylinder, make sure that its tap is closed and there are no open flames (lit oven, etc.) in the vicinity and the gasket seal is in good condition. Then screw the pressure regulator onto the cylinder.
  5. Attach the regulator to the tap, screw the nut tightly anti-clockwise.
  6. Carefully check that there is no gas leaking from the connection using soapy water (one part detergent and three parts water). If there is a leak, bubbles will form; tighten the connection more or seek professionally qualified service.
  7. Place the cylinder in its compartment, taking care that the tube is not twisted or choked and doesn’t touch any hot parts.
  8. Align the rear cylinder cover onto the main body.
  9. To replace the cylinder, make sure that its tap is closed and that there are no open flames (lit oven, etc.) or sources of heat in the place where you are working.
  10. The hose used for this appliance must be replaced every two years.
  11. Check the gas hose once per month and each time the cylinder is changed, if it shows cracking, splitting or other deterioration, it should be replaced with a new one.
  12. Do not mishandle the connections or other components.
  13. Do not turn the cylinder upside down to completely use its contents, the releases liquid residues left in the tank that will irreparably damage the heater.

MAINTENANCE

  1. Keep exterior surfaces clean.
  2. Clean the outside of the heater by using a soft cloth soaked with water and a liquid detergent. Do not use scouring pads or abrasive products.
  3. Do not use water, inflammable or abrasive cleaners.
  4. Regularly inspect the atmosphere analyzer and the aeration holes; if there is dust or lint, remove it without damaging the burner or tubing.
  5. Take care not to hit or damage the surface of the burner (it is delicate), the fittings and gas tubes, the tap and all the other components of the gas circuit.
  6. We recommend that you have the heater inspected once a year by authorized personnel.
  7. If you decide not to use the heater for an extended period, it is a good idea to follow the instructions below:
  8. Close the tap on the cylinder and disconnect the regulator from the cylinder.
  9. Store the cylinder in a well-ventilated room, far from inflammable or explosive materials and preferably outside your home; never store the cylinder in a basement or attic.
  10.  The heater must be stored in a dry place and protected from dust (and even better in its original packaging).
