A Quick Look at Your Camcorder

Button Functions
Power/Light Button:

Product Usage Instructions
Inserting a Memory Card
- Ensure the camcorder is powered off.
- Open the memory card cover located at the bottom of the camcorder.
- Insert the memory card into the card slot, ensuring it is inserted correctly.
- Close the memory card cover securely.
Attaching & Charging the Battery
- Ensure the camcorder is powered off.
- Slide the battery lock switch to unlock the battery compartment.
- Insert the rechargeable lithium battery into the battery compartment, aligning the contacts.
- Slide the battery lock switch to lock the battery compartment.
- Connect the USB cable to the camcorder and a power source.
- The charging indicator light will turn on, indicating that the battery is charging.
- Once the battery is fully charged, the charging indicator light will turn off.
Playback on a TV
- Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI port on the camcorder.
- Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to an available HDMI input on your TV.
- Turn on your TV and set it to the corresponding HDMI input.
- Power on the camcorder and enter playback mode.

Connecting to a Computer

A Quick Look at Your Camcorder

Button Functions
Power/Light Button
- Press to power on the camcorder.
- Press and hold to power off the camcorder.
- Once powered on, press to turn on night vision (3 red LED lights), press again to switch to the LED light (3 white LED lights), then press again to exit.
Menu Button
- Press to pull up the settings menu.
- Press to exit a menu or return to the previous menu.
Display/Wi-Fi Button
- Press once to turn off screen icons, and twice to turn on/off the screen.
- In photo/video mode, press and hold to turn on Wi-Fi. Press to turn off Wi-Fi.
Photo Button
- In photo mode, tap to focus. Press and hold to take a photo.
- In playback mode, press to play/pause.
Mode Button
- Press to select a mode.
Zoom
- Zoom in or out in (wide/telephoto) in photo/video mode.
- Adjust the volume during video playback.
- Toggle through selections in menus.
Video Button
- In video mode, start and stop recording.
Inserting a Memory Card
- Before powering on your camcorder, insert an SD memory card into the memory card slot. An SD memory card is required to store recorded photos and videos.
- To ensure smooth performance, it is recommended to use a memory card rated class 10 or above, with a capacity between 16 and 128GB.
NOTE:
- If a “Card is Full” error message appears on your display screen, you can either delete files or use another card to take more photos or videos.
- You may need to format a memory card for the camcorder to recognize it properly. Be sure to backup any files stored on a memory card before formatting, as the formatting process will delete all files stored on the card.
Attaching & Charging the Battery
- A rechargeable battery is included with your camcorder.
- Insert the battery into the camcorder’s battery compartment.
- To do so, push the battery towards the battery compartment, and then slide it upwards, making sure the contacts of the battery connect to the contacts of the battery compartment.
- Make sure the battery slides securely into place. Do not force or pressure the battery, as doing so could damage the contacts.
Charging the Battery
- In order to charge the battery, connect one end of the included
- USB cable to the charging port on your camcorder. Connect the other end to a suitable USB charging adapter.
- The Charging Indicator Light turns green while the battery is charging and turns off when charging is complete.
- Note that the camera can be plugged in while recording to be able to record for longer lengths of time.
- When charging, keep all charging cables well ventilated. Do not keep your charging cable in contact with flammable materials such as bedding, linens or synthetic fabrics.
Using the Remote Control
- You can control your camcorder using the included remote control. View the graphic below to see the remote’s button
Powering On & Off
Powering On
- To power on your camcorder, press the Power/Light button.
Powering Off
- Press and hold the Power/Light button to power off your camcorder.
NOTES:
- Your camcorder will also power on or power off by opening orclosing the screen.
- When not used for an extended period, your camcorder will automatically power off in order to save power.
Switching Modes
Your camcorder has four different video modes for recording video, four photo
modes for taking photos, and playback mode to review photos and videos you
have taken.
Selecting a Mode
Press the MODE button on top of your camcorder to enter the mode select menu.
Slide the Zoom left and right to make a selection, and press the PHOTO button
on top of your camcorder to make a selection.
Video Modes
- Normal Record: Select to record videos
- Slowly Record: Records videos at slower speeds
- Loop Record: Repeatedly records smaller timed video segments
- Time Lapse Record: Records at low frame rate, to showcase the passing of time
Photo Modes
- Normal Picture: Select to take a photo
- Auto Picture: Takes a picture after a set amount of time
- Continue Picture: Takes a burst of multiple photos at once
- Time Picture: Takes a photo after a time countdown
Video Mode/Recording Videos
- After powering on your camcorder, press the MODE button on top of your camcorder to enter the mode select menu. Slide the Zoom left and right to make a selection, and press the PHOTO button on top of your camcorder to select one of the four video modes.
Recording a Video
- To record a video, press the VIDEO button on your camcorder to start recording a video. Press the VIDEO button again to end your video recording.

Photo Mode/Taking Photos
- After powering on your camcorder, press the MODE button on top of your camcorder to enter the mode select menu. Slide the Zoom left and right to make a selection, and press the PHOTO button on top of your camcorder to select one of the four photo modes.
Taking a Picture
- To take a picture, tap the PHOTO button to focus and press down all the way to take the picture.

Playback Mode
- To enter playback mode, press the playback mode icon in the lower left hand corner of the photo mode or video mode display screen.
- Once in playback mode, use the Zoom to toggle through videos or photos.
- Press the PHOTO button on your camcorder to play or pause videos.
- Press the MODE button to exit playback mode.

Playback on a TV
- Connect one of the included HDMI cable to the HDMI port on your camcorder.
- Connect the other end to the HDMI In port on your television.
- Set the TV input to HDMI in.
- Playback images on the camcorder.
Connecting to a Computer
- Connect one end of the included USB-C cable into the USB port on your camcorder.
- Connect the other end to an available USB port on your computer. Once connected your camcorder’s battery can be charged or you can transfer files from your camcorder’s memory card to your computer.
- Your camcorder’s display screen will show 3 options: charging mode, large-capacity storage mode or camcorder mode.
- Select charging mode if you wish just to charge your camcorder. To transfer files, select large-capacity storage mode.
- Note that camcorder mode is not available for this model.
- Your camcorder will now act similarly to a thumb drive or other mass storage device. In Windows computers, a removable disk drive will mount in your My Computer or My PC window.
- You can click on this drive to access your photos. On computers running Mac OS an extra drive will mount on your desktop.
Attaching an External Microphone
For even higher quality sound, you can attach an external microphone to your camcorder.
- Connect the microphone’s 3.5mm plug into the External Microphone jack on your camcorder.
- If you are using a cold shoe microphone, then it can slide into the camcorder’s cold boot and then be tightened securely.
Wi-Fi Connection
- Use your camcorder’s built-in Wi-Fi functionality to download photos or video from the camcorder to your smartphone.
Download the App
- Search for “ELooK Pro” on Google Play (Android) or on the Apple App Store (iOS) to download the app. The app can also be downloaded by scanning the followng QR codes:
- Once your camcorder is powered on, press and hold the DISP/WIFI button.
- The following information displays on your camcorder’s screen:
- Wi-Fi: Ultra-HD-4K
- WI-FI pwd: 12345678
- Press DISP key to exit wifi
- Go to your phone’s settings menu, and make sure that Wi-Fi is turned on.
- Connect to the network named “Ultra-HD-4K” and if prompted, enter a password of 12345678.
- Once connected, open the ELook Pro app to download photos or videos.
- Note that 4K videos may be too large in many instances to download over a Wi-Fi connection. Press athe DISP/WIFI button to exit Wi-Fi mode.
- IMPORTANT NOTE: When using the ELook Pro app, you may be asked if you would like the app to automatically connect to your Wi-Fi network each time you run the application.
- Choose Yes when prompted, as failure to do so may cause difficulty when connecting to your camera’s Wi-Fi.
Accessing Menus
- After powering on the camcorder, press the MENU button to open the settings menu.
- Press the MODE button to shift between camera/video setting, general camcorder settings or to exit the settings menu.
- Use the ZOOM to switch between settings.
- Press the CAMERA button once a setting is highlighted to confirm
- Press the MENU button to return to a previous menu.

This warranty covers the original consumer purchaser only and is not
transferable.
This warranty covers products that fail to function properly UNDER NORMAL
USAGE, due to defects in material or workmanship. Your product will be
repaired or replaced at no charge for parts or labor for a period of one year.
What Is Not Covered by Warranty
Damages or malfunctions not resulting from defects in material or workmanship
and damages or malfunctions from other than normal use, including but limited
to, repair by unauthorized parties, tampering, modification or accident.

To receive Warranty service along with the name and address of an authorized
product service center, the original consumer purchaser must contact us for

requested service. It is your responsibility to properly package and send any
defective products along with a dated copy of proof of purchase, a written
explanation of the problem, and a valid return address to the authorized
