What you will need
To complete the installation, you will need the following items:
- A small amount of water and some general household cleaning solution in a bucket or bowl to clean the glass, if mounting it on a window
- A Wi-Fi router (eero Wi-Fi Router included in package)
- The network cable included in the Wi-Fi router package.
This is used to connect the Wi-Fi router to the PoE Injector.
How long it will take
The time it takes to install varies depending on how many signal tests you
perform and the size of your house, but in general, you should set aside about
30-60 minutes to complete the installation.

Prepare your device
You will need to do some basic assembly of the device when taking it out of
the box. STEP 3
Find the best location
In this step, you will take your UScellular Outdoor Receiver around your home
and test the performance while holding it at different windows. STEP 4
Install the UScellular® Outdoor Receiver
When you have found an ideal location, you will mount the UScellular Outdoor
Receiver on the window and complete the cabling. STEP 5
Setup your eero Wi-Fi Router
Follow the instructions in the eero Wi-Fi Router box to set up your Wi-Fi
network.
NOTE ON WINDOW CLEANING
The UScellular Outdoor Receiver features a reusable adhesive on the mounting
bracket. When mounting it on glass, be sure to clean and dry the mounting area
on the glass thoroughly to ensure a strong bond.
Failure to clean the glass properly can cause the adhesive to become dirty,
resulting in the bond between the device and glass not being as strong as it
could be, eventually leading to the device detaching from the
window.
SOFTWARE UPDATES
Your UScellular® Outdoor Receiver checks daily for software updates and
applies them automatically.
Updates are infrequent and generally applied in off-peak usage periods.
When a software update is being applied, your internet access is interrupted
for approximately two minutes.
LED INDICATORS
By default, the LED indicators remain on at all times. You can change this in
the app so that they turn off after 30 minutes of operation if there are no
errors to display.
In this mode, the LEDs automatically wake if an error occurs and remain on
until the error is resolved.
