KOHERSEN 72213 Elegance Ebony Wood

Instructions for the use and maintenance of Kohersen knives

• Use this product with caution. The knife blade is very sharp.
• Do not bend the knife blade when using the product. It may be permanently bent, chipped, broken, or otherwise damaged.
• Do not use the product to cut frozen or very hard foods, e.g. bones. If the knife accidentally hits a hard element that cannot be cut, slowly pull it out in a horizontal motion in a straight line.
• Do not use the product to cut food on hard surfaces such as ceramic, glass, stone, and metal.
• This accelerates the blunting process and can cause chipping of the blade. It is recommended to use the product for cutting products on surfaces made of wood or synthetic material.
• Do not keep the product in water for a long time.
• Do not clean the product in the dishwasher. This accelerates the blunting process and may damage the product’s elements, e.g. the handle.
• Manual cleaning is recommended, using a mild washing-up liquid and water. After cleaning the product, it is recommended to wipe it dry.
• Avoid keeping the product at high temperatures.
• Do not use the product as a substitute for hand tools such as screwdrivers, crowbars, cutting pliers, etc.
• Do not use the product to open cans, bottles, jars, etc.
• Do not use the product to stir or check the firmness of meat and vegetables during cooking.
• The product should be stored in a dry place in a way that prevents blunting and damage to the blade, e.g. in a knife block.
• It is recommended to sharpen the blade regularly to maintain its best cutting properties.
• Do not allow the blade to become completely blunt.
