Control with the main unit

  • Press the power button (C) to power all 3 outlets on or off.
  • Press the corresponding on/off button (F) to power the corresponding outlet on/off.
  • Press and hold the power button (C) for 10 seconds to reset the product to the factory setting.

Set Up your Power Strip with Alexa

  • Connect the power strip to the outlet.
  • Download the latest version of the Alexa app from the app store.
  • Open the Alexa app and tap the “More” icon on the bottom-right side of the screen.
  • Tap “Add a Device”.
  • Select “Plug” -> “Amazon Basics” -> Select your device accordingly, then follow the on-screen instructions. If prompted by the app, scan the 2D barcode on the back of the device.

Use your Power Strip with Alexa

  • The power strip will be set up as three plugs. To control the power strip, tap “Devices” -> “Plugs” to control each plug.
  • Setup routines: Tap “More” -> “Routines” to create a personalized routine for the product (e.g. setting a schedule so the power strip automatically switches on around the time you get home).

  • Problem 1: The device does not switch on.
    Solution 1: Check if the device is connected to the outlet. Use a voltage tester to verify if the outlet is powered.

  • Problem 2: The Amazon Alexa app cannot find or connect to the device.
    Solution 2:

1. Check that your phone/tablet and the Alexa app have the latest software version.
2. Make sure that your phone/tablet and your device are connected to the same 2.4 GHz network. The device is not compatible with a 5 GHz network.
3. Check that your phone/tablet is within 98′ (30 m) of your power strip.
4. Restart your device. To restart, unplug the device from the outlet and plug it back in.
5. If you have restarted your device and it still is not working, do a factory reset: Press and hold the power button (CJ for 10 seconds. Release the button once you see the reset indicator (D) blink green and red alternatively. The reset indicator (DJ blinks green when the reset is complete. Then setup the device again.

Intended use

  • This product is intended for switching on or off the connected electrical appliances through a Wi-Fi connection with Amazon Alexa app or other external Alexa built-in devices. It can also power/charge up to 2 connected devices via the 2 USB-A ports.
  • This product is intended for indoor dry location only.
  • This product is intended for household use only.

Overload protection function

  • When the product current exceeds 10 A, the overload protection is activated. The product switches itself off and the overload protection button (G) pops up. Wait for about 2 minutes and press the overload protection button (G) to resume operation.

Wall mounting

The product can be mounted on a wall.

  1. Mark the position of the hole on the back of the product.
  2. Drill a hole. Insert wall plug for concrete wall.
  3. Insert the screw leaving 1/12″ (2 mm) protruding from the wall.
  4. Hang the product on both screws. Connect the plug to the outlet.

Cleaning and Storage

WARNING Risk of electric shock!

  • To prevent electric shock, unplug the product before cleaning.
  • During cleaning do not immerse the product in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water.
  • To clean the product, wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
  • Wipe the product dry after cleaning.
  • Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.
