Product Description and Function
The N3 Recorder has the following keys and functions:

Charging
To charge the N3 Recorder, follow these steps:
Using USB Cable
- Connect the N3 Recorder to a powered computer using the supplied USB cable. Make sure to use the supplied cable.
- When connected to a computer, it will automatically enter the charging mode. The removable disk icon will be displayed in the lower right corner of the computer, and the recorder screen will Using a 5V Charger In addition to a personal computer, this product can also be charged using a 5V charger.
Disconnecting from Charging
Once charging is finished, the battery icon will display as fully charged. You can then disconnect the product from the computer or data cable.
Compatibility and Data Transfer

Product Description and Function
- Play/pause key Press this button briefly to play or pause the playback of music/recording When the power switch is on, long press this button to turn off or power on softly
- M key: Return to the previous menu, long press to bring out the two-pole menu or return to the main interface.
- Previous song/rewind button: short press to switch music/record to the previous song, long press to rewind.
- Next song/fast forward button: short press to switch music/record to the next song, long press fast forward.
- MIC: Get the sound source from here when recording
- Headphone hole: You can insert headphones to listen to the content inside the machine.
- Display screen
- Record/Save button: Push up to start recording, and down to save recording.
- Volume + Key: Press this key to increase the volume.
- Volume – Key: Press this key to decrease the volume.
- Power-on key: turn up to turn on the recorder and down to turn off.
- USB port: can be connected to computer and charging.

- Flip the power switch up to turn on and down to turn off the power.
- When the power switch is on, press and hold the play/pause button to soft turn off or on. NOTE :This function does not work when the player is connected to a PC or charging.
Charging
Please use the supplied USB cable to connect this product to a powered computer (be sure to use the supplied cable). When connected to a computer, it will automatically enter the charging mode. Main Interface
Select the features you want to use in the Home menu
The voice recorder’s home menu provides access to all functions. From here,
you can select features, search for recorded files, and adjust settings.
Main Screen (Home Menu)
- The main screen will appear when the recorder is turned on.
- After enter the main surface, the main interface contains “Music”,
“Setting”, “ Recording” three items, press the “Previous Song” or “Next Song” keys to switch each function, press “Play/Pause ” key to confirm access to each function.

The voice recorder offers various settings that can be adjusted.
Recording
| You can select and play the file that you recorded using the
voice recorder. You can adjust different recording settings.
Setting
Date & Time
Time Setting: After entering, use the “Previous song key” and “Next song key”
to switch the hour and minute value, or use “Volume +”, “Volume – ” to
adjust the value. Use the “M key” to switch the hour and minute, the clock is
24 hours. And press the “ Play/Pause key ” to confirm and save the
settings when completed.
As shown below.
Date Seting: After entering, use the “Previous song key” and “ Next song key” to switch the year, month and day value, or use “ Volume +”, “Volume -” to adjust the value. Use the “M key” to switch the year, month and day, and press the “Play/Pause key ” to confirm and save the settings when completed. As shown below.
Language
Select the “ Setting ” icon and briefly press the “ Play/Pause key” to enter. Then, use the “Previous song key” and “Next song key” to select “Language” and press the “Play/Pause key” to confirm your preferred language, as shown below.
Bcaklight Timer
The following settings are displayed: “30 Seconds”, “20 Seconds”, “10
Seconds”, and “Always On”. Do not move any keys during the time of setting
the screensaver, the machine will turn off the screen display to save power,
press any key to light up the screen, select Always on, the screen will not
turn off. Use the “Previous song key” and “ Next song key ” to select the
backlight timer and press the “Play/Pause key” to confirm.
Always On : Enabling this feature will prevent the screen from turning
off and override the set screen timeout duration.
Brightness
Adjust screen brightness by selecting 0-8 levels, using the “Previous song
key” and “Next song key”. Press “Play/Pause key” to confirm and save the
settings. Press “ Back/Menu key” to return directly without saving the
settings.

Shutdown Setting
Including “ Auto Shutdown” and “Timed Shutdown”
Timed Shutdown: Here is the control of the timing shutdown during playback (that is, stop playing and shut down after how long it is played), the time range is 0 minutes ~ 60, 5 minutes per level, set to 0 time irregular shutdown.As shown below. Auto Shutdown (on/off): Here is to control the automatic shutdown time during standby, you can set 0-10 minutes, 1 minute per stage, and do not automatically shut down when set to 0. As shown below.
Password Setting
When enter, the screen will show “Set: ON/OFF” and “Password Setting”. Use the
“Previous song key” and “Next song key” to select and press the “Play/Pause
key” to enter.
Set : ON/OFF: You need to turn on this setting to use the password
function.
Password Setting: You can set the range 0000-9999, switch positions using
the “ M key”. Use the “Previous song key” and “ Next song key” , or
use “Volume +” and “Volume -” to adjust the password value.
Change Password: If you need to change your password, go to that page again and enter your old password and confirm it, then enter your new password and save it.
Once you have set your password, you will be asked to enter it when you turn
on the recorder in order to access the main page. NOTE: If you forget the
password, please set the password to 1818, then press and hold the M key, and
enter the home page after “Show password cleared” on the machine. This means
that the password has been turned offand requires you to turn it on again and
set a new password in order to use the password feature.

NOTE: The factory settings will restore all the user’s settings, including screen, volume, language, etc., and will not delete the files in the machine, so you can use this function with confidence.
Music
Music
Select Music on the main interface, press the “ Play/Pause key” to enter
the music list, the interface is displayed as below:
To select the song you want to enjoy, press the “ Previous song key” and
“Next song key” and confirm by pressing the ” Play/Pause key”. Press the
“M key” to go back to the previous screen. Music playback interface and
description: Press the “ Play/Pause key” on the playback
interface to control music playback and pause, short press the “Previous song
key” or “ Next song key” to switch songs, long press the “ Previous song
key ” or “Next song key” can be fast-forwarded and rewinded, press “
Volume +” or “Volume – ” to adjust the volume level, and press the “M
key” repeatedly to return to the previous level or the main interface.
NOTE : Due to background playback, playback will not pause when returning
to other interfaces during playback
Play the Secondary Menu
Under the playback interface, press and hold the “M key” to enter: the options
are: “R epeat Mode”, “Cycle Mode” , “ Equalizer” and “Variable Speed
Playback”. As illustrated in the image below. Repeat Mode: After
selecting, there will be “A” dot flashing on the screen, short press the “
Play/Pause key” to set the starting point “A” where you need to start
repeating, then the “B ” point starts flashing, wait until the position
where you need to end the repetition and press the “ Play/Pause key” again
to set the end point “B”, then the device will automatically be in
“A-B” Repeat playback from the “A” to “B”, press the “Play/Pause key”
17 again during the repetition to exit the repeat mode, if you do not exit
the repeat, it will be repeated 99 times by default.
As illustrated in the image below. Cycle Mode: “Repeat All”, “Repeat One”,
“Shuffle” can be set.
Repeat All : Loop all tracks in the current list; Repeat One: Play the current track repeatedly; Shuffle: Shuffle tracks within a playlist.As illustrated in the image below.
Equalizer: “Normal, Pop, Rock, Jazz, Classical, Country” sound effects can be set. As illustrated in the image below. Variable Speed Playback: the variable speed range is -7~7, and the normal speed is 0. As illustrated in the image below.
Delete: When playing music in the playback interface, if you press “ M key” , the screen will show “Delete” and “Delete All”. As illustrated in the image below.
Delete: Select Delete, prompt “Yes” and “No”, select “Yes” to confirm the deletion, and selec t “No ” not to delete.
Delete All : Select Delete All, prompt “Yes” and “No”, select “Yes” to
confirm all deletion, and select “No” not to delete. If you press “M key”, it
will back to main screen.
NOTE: The device only supports music in MP3 format, you need to connect
the recorder to your computer to transfer, edit and delete the music you need.
Recording
How to record:
To start recording, push up the “Record/Save key” and wait 5 seconds. push down the key again to save the recording. The recording interface is as follows:
After saving the recording, automatically enter the playback interface, play the content as the last recording file, short press the “ Play/Pause key” to play, and press the “ Play/Pause key ” again to pause playback. The playback 20
The operation methods such as the previous song, the next song, fast forward
and rewind, volume +,- and so on are the same as 3.2 above.
When in the Recording interface:
It will show “ Recordings Library ” and “ REC Setting ”. As
illustrated in the image below.
Recordings Library: This is where you can find your recordings, the file names of the recordings are named according to the time set by the recorder, so make sure that the time you set is the time in reality.
REC Setting: After selection, display “Bit-rate Settings”, “Record Subsection”, “AVR Settings”, “Gain Settings”, “Monitor” and “Timed Recording”. As illustrated in the image below.
- Bit-rate Settings: 32kbps/ 128kbps/ 192kbps, the first 3 are MP3 format; 512kbps/1024kbps/1536kbps, the next three are WAV format .
- Record Subsection: unlimited, 30 minutes, 60 minutes and 90 minutes, each set recording duration is automatically saved and the next recording begins.
- AVR Settings: voice control: “off”/”on”, voice control sensitivity Voice is off when it is displayed as “Set: Off”, and on when it is displayed as “Set: On”. When the voice control is turned on, when the external sound is less than the decibel value required for the machine to start recording, the recording will be paused until there is a sound greater than the decibel value required by the machine to start recording, and when the sound is small, it will pause again and keep looping.Voice control sensitivity: can be set sensitivity: 0-7, the higher the value, the more sensitive, the smaller the external sound required to trigger the start of recording.
- Gain Settings: level 0-7, the greater the gain, the louder the recording sound and the louder the noise.
- Monitor: “On” plugged in headphones to hear the recorded content in real time.
- Timed recording: Timed: Off/On, Cycle: Single/Daily, Set Time: Current Time/Start Time/End Time. Set the time method: press the previous or next song key to switch the adjustment project, press the volume + or volume – key to adjust the value, and press the play key to confirm saving.

How
to rename a folder or file
The recorder cannot rename folders directly. To rename a folder, connect it to
a computer to perform this task. Organize files in folders (file moving/file
copying) If you need to move or copy files, you must connect the recorder to a
computer.The recorder itself cannot move or copy files.
If you move a file, it will disappear from the original folder. When copied,
the file will be copied with the same file order.
When in Troubles
Please check the item again before requesting repair.
Noise
Too much noise makes it difficult to hear recorded audio. Ambient noise other
than voices may be recorded at the time of recording. To reduce noise during
recording
- Adjust the recording position before recording.
- Adjust the microphone position.
Recording Noise
Noise may occur if your hand touches the recorder or if the recorder rubs
against your clothing during recording.
Try not to touch the recorder until the recording is finished.
“harsh” Sound Appears in the Audio
If the recorder is placed near electric wires, fluorescent lights, mobile
phones, etc. during recording or playback, a “shrill” sound may be heard.5.4
Recording Stops Abruptly.
AVR is in progress. When AVr is not in use, set “OFF”. Check the battery
level. Check the memory.
Charging
There may be reasons why charging is not possible. When using a cable other
than the supplied USB cable, etc., it may not be possible to connect to a
computer for charging. Use the supplied USB cable. Charging is not possible
even when connected to a computer that is not turned on. In addition, even if
the computer is turned on, charging is not possible when the computer is in
standby mode, so disconnect the recorder from the computer and reconnect it.
The USB cable is not connected correctly. The built-in rechargeable battery
is in an inactive state. If the battery is not used for a long time, the
“deactivation” phenomenon may occur. This phenomenon may return after repeated
charging and discharging.
