- Only use main power supply or grid sockets when charging your electric vehicle. The socket must comply with regional/national laws and standards.
- User must comply with the safety instructions written in your vehicle manual and in this document.
- The AC input voltage can not be over 300V. Over voltage would damage this device and void the warranty.
- If either this device or the socket is damaged or faulty, do not use this device. Failure to comply can lead to either a short-circuit, electrocution, explosion, fire or burns.
- Never use the charging cable if it is damaged. Always check both ends of the cable as well as the control box before using the product.
- Always ensure the cable is properly connected to the socket. This includes the connection at the vehicle inlet and the power socket.
- Operating the cable using a damaged socket can result in a serious injury or fire.
- Never attempt to open the cable’s casing on either end. Contact a qualified professional for any servicing or repairs.
- Always connect the right power supply voltage.
- Never use an extension cable.
- Never use a multiple plug socket adapter.
- Never attempt to modify or repair the electric components of this device.
- Never touch any of the electric components of the connector or charging port.
- Keep sockets, plug connection and the electric cable away from the moisture, water, snow, ice and other liquid.
- This device should be supervised when used around children.
- Do not operate this device in temperatures outside its operating range.

Technical Support
If the following troubleshooting guide still can not help settle the problem. Contact us by visiting www.evspouse.com to leave a message.
Error Code | Cause | Solution |
---|---|---|
OV | AC input voltage is too high, over 1.73 times the rated voltage. | Ask a |
certified or professional electrician to test the input voltage and solve it.
UV| AC input voltage is too low, less than 85V.| Ask a certified or
professional electrician to test the input voltage and solve it.
OC| AC input current is too high. Over 4A higher than the set charging ampere
lasting S seconds, or over 8A higher instantly.| Immediately turn off the
leakage or over-current protection switch of the distribution box. Check
whether there is a low-impedance connection between the charger and the EV.
LC| The leakage current is greater than 20mA.| Immediately disconnect the
leakage or over-current protection switch of the distribution box. Check
whether the power supply, charging cable or the charging port is damaged or
has low-impedance connection to the ground.
OT| The interior temperature of the control box is greater than 185017(85°C).|
Make sure the ambient temperature is below 13017(55°C).
