Warm tips
- After receiving the product, please set the time and language first (Default: English).
- The factory default settings are the best settings after several tests by the factory technicians, if not necessary, it is recommended not to change.

2. Quick Help
2.1 Power on/off
- Long press “Power” to turn on/off the machine.
- The machine will automatically shut down after 2 minutes without any operation after power on.
2.2 Enter Menu
- After power on, press and hold [M] to enter menu. Short press [PLAY/OK] to save changes, short press [RETURN] to exit.

2.6 Select recording/music file
- After power on, short press [M] to switch between recording/music files. This function is useful for you to distinguish between the recording files and music files. 9

- Unable to playback?
Audio files are not supported, please select wav/mp3… format.
2.8 Fast forward/rewind
- Short press to switch the previous/next song.
- Long press to fast rewind/forward. Fast forward /rewind can only be done during playback, but not during pause.
2.9 Delete/Delete all
- When playing files, short press to bring up the delete file menu option.
2.10 Reset button
- If there is a dead/unable to connect to the computer or other situations, you can try the reset button, it will help you to achieve the factory settings with one click. Please rest assured: it will not delete any files

NOTE
- When the battery indicator shows ” “, please use a professional usb wall charger to charge in time.
- If you charge directly into the computer, the charging speed will be very slow, and the full charging time will be very long.
- If not used for a long time, please charge and discharge the product once every 3 months.
2.12 Connect PC to Playback
[USB DISK]-[RECORD]-Click the recording to play directly.

Press and hold M to enter menu settings.
3.1 Recording settings

Recording format: WAV/MP3

Set rec bitrate
The higher the bit rate of the recording file, the more memory and the more power consumption. -
Recording from Microphone/Line in
• Microphone [Default] • Line-in Recording: Direct audio to recording. Connect external devices via 3.5mm audio cable, such as PC, mobile phones, MP3, etc. -
Record sensitivity [Default: 3] (No change recommended)
The higher the number, the higher the recording sensitivity.
But the sensitivity is too high resulting in capturing very subtle sounds and thus creating noise. Too low will result in missing some recording -
Segmented recording [Default: OFF] This feature allows you to split large files or files with long recording times, making them easier to manage. After turning on this function, you can set every 0/30/60 minutes… Split the recording once. After splitting, unnecessary files can be deleted to save memory. The default split length varies with the bit rate.

AVR mode (Voice activated) [Default: Normal] • Normal: Turn off voice activation
• AVR On: Turn on voice activation Voice activation function: When the Voice activation is turned on, it will automatically sense the surrounding sound, when the surrounding sound reaches a certain standard, it will automatically record, automatically suspend the recording when bellowing the standard.
NOTE After turning on voice activation, low decibel sounds may be missed, so please turn on this feature with caution. It is not recommended to use in important occasions.
• Set level of AVR [Default: 4] (No change recommended) The higher the Voice activation sensitivity level the higher the sensitivity (i.e. the recorder is able to record very small sounds), to avoid excessive noise it is recommended that the sensitivity be set at around 3. -
Recording monitor [Default: OFF] After setting to on, plug in the headphones at this time you can listen to the content being recorded.

3.2 System settings

• Password switch [Default: OFF] • Password set: Original password: 00 00 00 If you forget your password, please enter (18 18 18) and press and hold the [Return] button for over 3 seconds to crack it.
NOTE Whenever you turn on this function or connect to your computer, you will need to enter your password before you can use the unit. -
Information
Check Disk Space. Reasons for the difference between actual and displayed memory: Because of binary differences, plus the system software also takes up some of the storage space. Please Google for more. -
Format device NOTE Please backup the data in the recorder in advance, all files in the recorder will be deleted after formatting.
Can be connected to a PC for formatting (i.e. click “USB DISK” to format)
Do not shut off the device during disk format, or disk error. -

Repeat mode that is A-B repeat function
- When playing a file, enter the menu, select repeat mode, the page will automatically jump back to the playback page. When A flashing, press the [MENU] button once to select the start point (A), and press the [MENU] button again to select the end point (B). At this time, the recording will be repeated between A-B. Then, press the [MENU] button can exit the A-B repeat mode.

Q1: Can’t find recording in the recorder?
- Long press menu button to switch music to wav folder.
- It may be a disk error, please check the recording file on computer.
Q2: Can’t record/work?
- Check if the battery is exhausted and charge it in time.
- Check if the storage space is full and delete some recordings after backup.
- Recording is not possible when the recorder is connected to a computer, if you want to record, disconnect from the recorder and turn it on again.
- The recorder automatically ignores low decibel sounds when voice activation is switched on.
- If you still can’t solve it, please contact us.
Q3: How to reduce noise?
- Turn off voice activation when not needed.
- Place the recorder smoothly to avoid friction with other objects, such as hands, clothing, etc.
- When recording, try not to touch the recorder as well as the buttons.
- Away from sources of noise (e.g. air conditioning, typing, or subtle noise that may be generated by running computers)
- When recording voice, please let the voice speak at least 30cm away from the microphone of the recorder, otherwise it is easy to produce popping sound.
- If the recording environment is very noisy, can not avoid the noise, please understand.
Q4: Error When Connecting to PC?
- Please make sure the recorder is turned off. When connecting, please place the recorder smoothly and do not press any buttons.
- Switch on first, then press [Reset] button.
- Restart the computer or recorder.
- Please connect with different cable, interface to troubleshoot (Mac: replace USB-C Hub). If there is still no response, please contact us.
- For Windows: check if the usb disk identification appears on my computer. Click “USB Disk Identifier” at the bottom right corner of the desktop – [Open Devices and Printers] – [Devices] – right click [HS USB FlashDisk] – [Remove Device], and then reconnect to your computer.
Q5: Why is the actual storage space of this recorder not up to the
advertised storage space?
All memory manufacturers produce memory according to 1000MB=1GB, while
computers identify devices according to 1024MB=1GB.
Q6: Disk Error?
Cut off its power when format device didn’t completed, so it lost system
firmware. Please connect computer to format. Or switch on first, then press
[Reset] button.
Q7: Can’t shut down?
- When the recorder is charging, or connected to computer, it will not accept any instructions.(It’s normal)
- In other cases, switch on first, then press [Reset] button.
Q8: Format Error?
The recordings time length is less than 5 seconds, like 0 second recordings
file. Audio files format are not supported.
Q9: I found recordings when using the recorder for the first time? Sorry. It
is possible that the recording button was accidentally touched during the
packaging or shipping of the product to make these recordings (time not
calibrated). Please be assured that we only sell brand new products. This is
the business principle we have always insisted on. But we also fully
