Connecting With Your Computer

1. Turn on your computer.
2. Insert the USB interface of the KB487L keyboard into a USB port of your computer (better choose the USB port located on the back of the chassis instead of those on the front)
3. Wait for 1 minute, and your keyboard will automatically read by your computer with no extra driver needed.
   ( Note: KB487L is a plug-and-play keyboard no need of any driver.)

For this keyboard, only the number pad, “Caplocks” key, and “Num lock” key are backlit. You could use their backlit to know which state these keys are

1. Press the “Capslock” key to turn on/off its backlit
2. The capslock is on when its backlit is on.
3. The capslock is off when its backlit is off.
4. FN+NUMLOCK to turn on/ off the backlit of the number pad.

• The backlit of the number pad is on, the numbers are working and the Numlock is on. (But the functional key-HOME, PGUP, PGDN, END and DEL are not working)
• The backlit of the number pad is off, the numbers are not working and the Numlock is off. ( functional key-HOME, PGUP, PGDN, END and DEL are working)
  ( NOTE :Since the MAC system does not have the NUMLOCK function, FN+NUMLOCK does not work under the MAC system)

1. As our keycaps is high-profile and OEM, and this keyboard is a standard layout you can customize the keycaps as you like.
2. Since this keyboard uses mechanically welded shaft, you can not replace the shaft body. If you have any other suggestions, please feel free to contact us We will optimize the product with your ideas.
