  7. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture.
  8. Clean only with a dry cloth.
  9. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
  10. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
  11. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
  12. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
  13. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
  14. This product has been tested and found to comply with the limits for Part 15 of the FCC.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Consult Tivoli Audio for help.
  2. Increase the separation between the equipment and the receiver.
  3. Connect the equipment to an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
  4. For added protection for this product during a lightning storm, or when it is left unattended and unused for long periods of time, unplug it from the wall outlet. This will prevent damage to the product from lightning and power-line surges.
  5. Operate this product only from the type of power source indicated on the rear panel. For products using an external power supply, use an exact replacement if lost or damaged. For products operating from battery power, refer to the user manual.
  6. Unplug this product from the wall outlet and refer servicing to qualified service personnel under the following conditions
    • When the power supply cord or plug is damaged.
    • If liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the product.
    • If the product does not operate normally by following the operating instructions.
    • If the product has been dropped or damaged in any way.
    • When the product exhibits a distinctive change in performance.
  7. Apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus by furniture, etc.
  8. The power cord plug serves as the disconnect device and should remain readily accessible.
  9. Complies with the Canadian ICES-003 & RSS-21O.
  10. CAUTION: Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by Tivoli Audio for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate this equipment.
  11. WARNING: The mains are not disconnected in the off position, but the circuits are.

  7. WARNING: DO NOT INGEST BATTERY, CHEMICAL BURN HAZARD.
    • The remote control supplied with this product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the coin/button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death. Keep new and used batteries away from children. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

  20. If the LCD becomes cracked and damaged, do not touch the liquid.
  21. Keep this product a safe distance away from naked flame, such as a lit candle.
  22. The recommended operating temperature range is 5˚ C to 40˚ C (41˚ F to 104˚ F).
  23. The external power supply must be positioned so it is readily accessible and not blocked by furniture, etc.
  24. The power cord plug serves as the disconnect device and should remain readily accessible.
