Halloween Candle Making Kit
Kit Includes
› 385grams soy wax
› 2 candle moulds
› 40cm wick rope
› 2 candle dyes
› 1 wick holder
› 2 wooden sticks
› 1 needle
Tips
– Enough wax to make 1 skull and 1 ghost candle.
– Keep the mould still during the setting process to ensure a flat base on
your candle.
– The wax in the centre of your candle will take longer to set, wait for the
wax to dry completely before releasing mould.
Take care when handling hot wax.
– Remove the candle from the mould very gently and slowly.
Too much force can cause the candle to break in the mould.
How To Create A Halloween Candle
Add soy wax to a heat resistant container, heat and stir well with the wooden stick. Once the wax is completely melted add small amounts of dye until you acheive your desired colour. Thread the needle and wick rope through the top of the mould. With the opening of the mould facing upwards, place the wick holder on to stabilise the wick end. Blowing hot moulds with a hot air gun.
When the wax is at around 75°C, pour the wax into the mould in three stages, shaking the mould appropriately during the pouring process to reduce the formation of air bubbles.
Gently demould after the wax has completely dried to reveal your candle.
