M187 MICROPHONE MANUAL
MICROPHONE OPERATION
The optimum distance between the microphone and mouth is 5-10 cm. If the
microphone is too close to the singer’s mouth, the resulting sound may be
unclear and appear to have too much bass. Also, if held to close to the mouth,
the microphone may generate popping noises from the singer’s breathing.
CONNECT CABLE TO MICROPHONE
- Connect: Align the microphone’s output connector (female) with the cord’s connector (male), then gently push together until a click is heard.
- Disconnect: Press down the locking tab on the cord’s connector, then separate the microphone and cord connector.
PRECAUTIONS
- Covering the microphone head with your hand or holding the microphone too close to the speaker can create a howling sound called feedback. Handling the microphone with care and redirecting the speaker output or moving away from the speaker will solve this issue.
- The microphone components are very delicate and sensitive. Dropping, hitting, bumping or any mistreatment may affect the quality of the microphone and even destroy the microphone’s ability to function properly.
- Do not store or expose the microphone to high temperatures or humidity. If the microphone has been exposed to very cold (freezing) temperatures, allow it to warm to room temperature before using.
