Purpose of the manual
The purpose of writing the Setup Document is to setup a VC camera into Visiotech DEMS software. -
System Requirements
Visiotech_DEMS_5.13 or Above

System Workings
VC Camera Manager: Follow the manual to install the VC Camera manager and setup the camera as required, and make sure you setup the Device ID and the User ID. (Device ID is recommended to be the camera serial number eg:
0025XXX) Can be downloaded from Comvision Support Portal.

DEMS Docking: With Admin rights need to add cameras into DEMS Docking so it attached the correct name to the file and shows in Upload screen.
Camera Set-up Run the VC Camera Manager
This will setup the camera to match your requirments.
To Login: The default User Name is: Admin and the default password is: 000000
Device ID: Set a 7-digit ID Can be Numbers or Capital Letters. (Normally
Camera Serial Number , EG; 0025564).
User/Police ID: Set a 6-digit ID, Can be Numbers or Capital Letters Only.
(should be unique for each device for your system, EG; CAM001 or WEST02, ).
Sync Date and Time: to Sync the time between your PC and the body Camera.
Other Settings: For other setting for the VC Camera please see the VC Camera
Manual, Click “Apply” after every setting changed.
Recommended settings to Change: Below settings are to be changed from default.
Other options should remain default.
Resolution: 1296 , Length of Each Video: 10Min, Record Notification; 60-90 Sec
, Pre-record; ON , GPS; ON or OFF (Depending if been used or not) , Loop
Recording; ON ,
RSA Encryption should OFF unless you have been given a encryption Key If
encryption is required read the Visiotech VC-2 Encryption Document
DEMS Plus Set-up
Theses setting are not for setting up DEMS Docking but adding a new camera or
changing camera details in an existing DEMS System.When DEMS Plus is running, go to the “User Management” tab and logon
with the Admin User Name and Password, and enter the detail of the camera that
you did in the steps above.
Please note that the User ID and Password can be used to log onto the
software.
This will setup the DEMS Software to match the new camera.
User ID: Enter the User ID you created in the camera in the VC camera manager
.
Device ID: Enter the Device ID you created in the camera in the VC camera
manager.
(Normally Camera Serial Number).
Name: Give the camera a name to help with the description on the camera.
Password: Leave Blank (This is used for logging into the software Not Camera).
Other Settings: No settings need to be changed as not required for camera.
Photo: Add photo if required (.jpg Only) In the Configuration Tab you will
also need to Licence the software.
Please copy and send the Machine Code to your supplier and they will send you
back a licence key.
