I. Introduction
We have developed the FELIWAY® home Level Sensor so that you are automatically
alerted when the liquid in the FELIWAY® refill reaches a low level and soon
needs to be replaced.
You are informed by a flashing light on the device and by notifications sent
to your smartphone. FELIWAY® home Level Sensor is connected to the FELIWAY®
home application. It allows you to easily order a new FELIWAY® refill in a few
clicks.
Before using the device, please read these instructions carefully.
2. Description of FELIWAY® home Level Sensor
The device comes in the form of a plastic disc with two LEDs located on its top part.
⚠ WARNING: This product contains a coin battery that is hazardous if ingested. Keep new and used batteries out of the reach of children. Seek immediate medical attention if a battery is ingested.
3. Important information

Configuration requirements
You need a smartphone with iOS 14 (or higher) or with Android 8 (or higher).
The device communicates with the FELIWAY® home application installed on your smartphone, via Bluetooth®. Please make sure that your Bluetooth is activated on your smartphone. -

4. Connecting FELIWAY® home Level Sensor to the FELIWAY® home
application
The device works with the FELIWAY® home application.
Before using the device for the first time, you must connect it to the
FELIWAY® home application on your smartphone, following the instructions in
the application.
Logging into the application will allow you to:
- Receive notifications on your smartphone (low level alert; refill change reminder; battery level alert light saturation alert).
- Order a new FELIWAY® refill from your smartphone.
- Installing the FELIWAY® home application on your smartphone.
To install the FELIWAY® home application, scan the QR code located on the back of the device with your smartphone camera and follow the instructions.
⚠ CAUTION: It is necessary to keep the FELIWAY® home application running in the background and the Bluetooth® enabled in order to receive notifications. If you force the application to close, it will no longer be able to connect to your device.
Connecting FELIWAY® home Level Sensor to the FELIWAY® home application
The procedure for connecting the device to the FELIWAY® home application consists of 3 steps:
- First step; create an account or login to your FELIWAY® account if you are already a customer.
- Permissions: allowing or enabling Bluetooth®; receiving notifications.
- Installation: connecting the device to your diffuser.
Before starting the connection procedure, make sure that the device is close to your smartphone, so that you can perform these few steps successfully.
5. Installing your FELIWAY® home Level Sensor
- Remove the cap from the FELIWAY® refill.
- Screw the FELIWAY® refill onto the diffuser
- Attach the device to the bottom of the refill, ensuring that the square part, where the LEDs are located, is facing -away from the wall, as shown in the picture below.
The LED will light up green for 3 second and then fish until connected to the FELIWAY® home application, for a maximum of I minute.
6. Receiving notifications on your smartphone
Once the installation is complete, the device enters normal operating mode.
No LEDs are lit.

To receive notifications, your smartphone must be in the immediate vicinity of
the FELIWAY® home Level Sensor (maximum distance 8 meters).

Low level notification
This notification indicates that the liquid in the refill has reached a low level and that it will soon be necessary to replace the refill. -
Reminder notification for refill change
This notification reminds you that it is time to replace the refill, by default 5 days after the low level notification.
Note; you can change the reminder time between I and 5 days in the application settings. -
Battery replacement notification
This notification tells the user that the battery (type CR2032) needs to be replaced soon. -
Light saturation notification
This notification tells you that level detection cannot be performed due to too much light around the diffuser for a period longer than twelve hours. -
Communication outage notification
This notification tells you that the device has not been able to communicate with your FELIWAY® home application for more than 4 days.
7. Meaning of the light alerts on FELIWAY® home Level Sensor
The device is equipped with two LEDs (green and red) on its top.
These LEDs serve to confirm that:
– The device is working properly when installed (green LED).
– The liquid in the refill has reached a low level and needs to be replaced
(red LED).

(*): your smartphone must be within 8 meters of the device to receive the notification.

Battery characteristics
The device is powered by a standard button cell battery (type CR2032). -
Replacement of the battery
Using a screwdriver, open the cover on the bottom of the device.
Keep the screw and its washer to be able to close the battery access cover properly. Remove the old battery from compartment and install a new battery.
Keep new and used batteries out of the reach of children. Seek immediate medical attention if a battery is ingested.
9. Cleaning FELIWAY® home Level Sensor
Clean the device with a clean, dry cloth or tissue. Never use alcohol or other solvents.
10. Recycling FELIWAY® home Level Sensor
Do not dispose of the device with household waste.
Return the device to an authorized disposal company or to your local waste
disposal center.
This product is subject to the European directive 2012/ 19/EU (WEEE).
I I . Warranty
FELIWAY® home Level Sensor has a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase.
12. FELIWAY® home Level Sensor technical features

subject to the following two conditions: (I) this device may not cause harmful
interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received,
including interference that may cause undesired operation.
Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible
for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a
Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are
designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a
residential installation. This equipment generates uses and can transmit radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the
instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However,
there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular
installation. If this equipment
does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be
determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try
to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
MPE Reminding: The equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set
forth for an uncontrolled environment this transmitter must not be collocated
or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
