Thank you for purchase SEGL lithium-ion battery. Carefully read this Safety Instructions before using your product. The person responsible for the instrument must ensure that all users understand and adhere to these instructions and avoid potential danger, such as fire, electric shock…etc. ensure longest lifespan and best performance can be obtained.
Caution
All instructions contained herein must be carefully complied with. Be aware
that in the event any of the instructions contained in the present instruction
are not applied, any warranty given on the battery is void and will affect the
lifespan and performance to the battery pack.
Dangerous
- Do not charge the battery pack with uncertified charger.
- Do not overcharge or over discharge.
- Do not use this battery pack for other applications. If you intend to use it for other applications, please contact SEGL for more information.
- Avoid metallic parts close to the terminal. Do not reverse the polarity.
- Do not use, leave battery close to fire or inside of a car where temperature may be above 60°C.
- Do not immerse, throw, and wet battery in water/ seawater.
- Never weld directly on the unit casing or terminal.
- Never attempt to open the battery pack for any reason. If the plastic housing of the battery pack breaks or cracks, return to a service center for recycling.
- Incorrect reassembly may result in a risk of electric shock or fire.
- Do not drop battery, puncture or crush battery pack. Never use battery if it is leaking or appears to be expanding.
Warning
- Stop charging immediately if it fails to fully charge within the designated / expected time limit.
- Stop immediately, and do not use it, when unusual appearanc (smell, heat, discolor etc.) inspected in any situation.
- If liquid leaks onto your skin or clothes, wash well with fresh water immediately. If it gets into your eyes, do not rub your eyes, flush with clean running water and seek medical attention immediately.
Caution
- Follow charging and discharging instructions.
- Battery pack replacement happened, check and comply with required specification.
- Store in cool and dry conditions.
- Charge battery periodically, especially when not in use.
- Keep terminals and connectors clean, always.

Ensure maximum safety, battery protection circuit built-in : Over-charge,
Over-discharge. Over-current, Short circuit and Thermal protection.
Lifespan and storage
- Battery performance deteriorates over time, whether the battery is used or not. Life expectancy determined by frequency of usage and storage condition…etc.
- Longerst life and best performance can be optained if the batery is operated below 50°C, and stored under 40°C (25°C the best) is recommanded.
- Fully charge the battery pack before stored for an extended period of time, check and re-charge regularly is recommanded.
Disposal of retired battery
- Properly dispose the battery pack or cell in accordance with local laws and mandates (if you’re unsure, contact your local municipality or agent for details).
- Avoid metallic parts close to the terminal.
- Do not throw it into fire or near fire.
- Don’t store battery where children can easily reach. Battery chemical fluid may cause blindness or burned.
