RealmFive 100-00732 Guardian

Product Information

The Guardian by Behlen Country (variants 100-00732 and 100-00733) is a device designed for use with stock water tanks. It is used to measure water level and water temperature. Please note that using the device outside of its designed use will void the warranty.

The Guardian device comes with the following components:

• A. Power Switch Magnet: Used to power the device on and off.
• B. Solar Panel: Provides power to the device.
• C. Status Indicator: Colored LED light that indicates the device status.
• D. Signal Indicator: Colored LED light that indicates the communication status.
• E. Activation Sticker: QR Code with Device ID and Activation Code.
• F. Certification Sticker: Provides device information and certifications.
• G. Tethering Slot: Slot for attaching an optional tether to hold the device in place.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Unpack the Guardian device and included a tape measure from the box.
2. Scan the Activation Sticker with your mobile device’s camera or go to https://app.realmfive.com.
3. Follow the instructions and step-by-step guide provided on the website to activate the device online. Do not remove the Power Switch Magnet until you are physically at the tank to set the GPS location and verify communication.
4. When you are physically at the stock tank, remove the sticker covering the Power Switch Magnet.
5. Remove the Power Switch Magnet and keep it in a safe place for future use and device storage.
6. Verify that the Status Indicator is not flashing red and the Communication Indicator reports a good or better signal.
7. Place the Guardian device in the water.
8. To set up your account for the first time, scan the Activation Sticker with your mobile device’s camera or go to https://app.realmfive.com.
9. Click on the Sign-Up button on the Login screen and follow the instructions to set up your account.
10. To set thresholds for Water Level and Water Temperature, view your tank from Map View or Ranch View and click each Set Thresholds button.
11. To customize your notification preferences, click on the Notification Preferences button or go to Account > Notification Preferences in the main navigation menu.
12. Verify your email address and phone number and make any necessary changes.
13. Select which notifications you wish to receive and the methods through which you will receive them.

IMPORTANT:
Before using this product, make sure you read these instructions and activate the device online prior to removing the Power SwitchMagnet.

The illustrations show 100-00732, but the steps are the same for another variant of Guardian by Behlen Country unless otherwise specified.

UNPACK

Remove the Guardian device and included tape measure from the box.

Familiarize yourself with the Guardian device

• A. Power SwitchMagnet
  Remove the magnet to power the unit on. Attach the magnet to power off. It is advised to keep the magnet in a safe place for future use or device storage.

• B. Solar Panel

• C. Status Indicator
  Colored LED light for device status

• D. Signal Indicator
  Colored LED light for communication status

• E. Activation Sticker
  QR Code with the Device ID and Activation Code

• F. Certification Sticker
  Device information and certifications

• G. Tethering Slot
  Slot for attaching optional tether for holding the device in place. Refer to tethering instructions.

SET UP ACCOUNT (FIRST TIME ONLY)

1. Scan the Activation Sticker with a mobile device or go to https://app.realmfive.com.
2. Click on the “Sign Up” button on Log In screen
3. Follow instructions

INSTALL DEVICE

1. Scan the Activation Sticker with a mobile device or go to https://app.realmfive.com
2. Follow instructions and a step-by-step guide
3. DO NOT REMOVE POWER SWITCH MAGNET until you are physically at the tank to set the GPS location and verify communication

POWER ON DEVICE

1. When at the stock tank where you will use the Guardian device, remove the sticker covering the Power SwitchMagnet
2. Remove the Power SwitchMagnet and keep it in a safe place for future use and device storage
3. Verify Status Indicator is not flashing red (refer to the table below)
4. Verify Communication Indicator reports a good or better signal (refer to the table below)
5. Place the Guardian device in the water

SET THRESHOLDS AND NOTIFICATIONS

1. View your tank fromMap View or Ranch View and click each “Set Thresholds” button and set your thresholds for water Level and Water Temperature
2. Click on the Notification Preferences button or go to Account > Notification Preferences in the main navigation menu
3. Verify your email address and phone number and make any necessary changes
4. Select which notifications you wish to receive and the methods you will receive them

Scan QR Codes with the camera app on your mobile device and tap on the link.
