Installation
Unit Position & Location:
2.1 Install unit on a level surface.
2.2 Position unit within three feet of a standard three-prong 120-volt
outlet (15-amps).
2.3 Position unit as close to the water tank as possible, while
maintaining a minimum distance to electrical outlet.
2.4 Ensure there is a minimum one-foot clearance on all sides of unit to
avoid risk of damage.
2.5 Ensure the pump level is below the minimum water level in the tank so
the pump is fed by gravity. Please see the detailed operating manual for non-
flooded suction installations.

the two included connectors, taking note of the orientation of the intake and
discharge and the location of the tank. Connection size is 1.5″ and hard PVC
piping should be 1.5″ for inlet and discharge.
Note 1: The intake and discharge piping should be as short as possible.
Do not exceed 20 feet for either the intake or discharge pipes.
Note 2: The unit should not be placed more than six feet above the
nominal water level.
Refer to owner’s manual piping placement and pump restrictions.
4.2 Included glue-able connections should be hand tightened only, do not
use tools to tighten onto the pump or discharge. Ensure all connections are
tight before beginning startup steps.
