Product Information

The Digital Light Meter is a stable, safe, and reliable device used for measuring light intensity. It is suitable for various applications such as workshops, warehouses, libraries, offices, laboratories, homes, lighting enterprises, and street lighting construction. The meter features high integration, a high-definition LCD with backlight display, and a Bluetooth communication function (available in the BT model) for convenient data viewing.

Safety Instructions:

1. Before using the meter, carefully inspect it and its accessories for any damage or abnormalities. If any issues are found, please stop using the meter.

2. Follow the operating instructions while measuring.

3. Do not open the meter or change internal wiring to avoid damage.

4. Replace the battery when the LCD displays a low voltage symbol.
   Remove the battery if not in use for a long time.

5. Avoid storing or using the meter in high temperature, high humidity, flammable, combustible, or strong electromagnetic environments.

6. Clean the meter with a soft cloth and neutral detergent. Do not use corrosive agents or solvents.

Product Usage Instructions

Open-package Inspection:

1. Open the packing box and take out the meter.
2. Check carefully if any items are missing or damaged.
3. Ensure that the following items are present:

• Operating manual – 1pc
• 9V battery – 1pc
• Bag – 1pc

If any problems are found, please contact your supplier.

Key Instructions:

Note: Short press refers to pressing a key for less than 2 seconds, and long press refers to pressing a key for more than 3 seconds.

POWER: Power switch

• Short press: Power on
• Long press: Power off

MAX/MIN: Maximum and Minimum value measurement or cancel automatic shutdown

• Short press: Select Max. and Min. value measurement
• Long press: Return to normal value measurement

To cancel the automatic shutdown function, follow these steps:

1. In the shutdown state, press and hold the MAX/MIN key.
2. Short press the POWER key.

DATA HOLD / BACKLIGHT: Data hold and backlight button
MAX. / MIN. / CANCEL AUTO SHUTDOWN: Max., Min., and Cancel Auto Shutdown button
UNIT SELECTION: Unit selection button

Safety instruction

1. Please check the meter and the accessories before using and beware of any damage or abnormal phenomenon. If you find the meter is damaged or the LCD shows nothing, or you consider that the meter could not work properly anymore, please stop using it
2. Observe the operating instructions while measuring.
3. Do not open the meter at will or change internal wiring to avoid damage to the meter
4. When the LCD displays “ “, replace the battery. Remove the battery if you do not use it for a long time.
5. Do not store or use the meter in high temperature, high humidity, flammable, combustible, or strong electromagnetic environment.
6. Please use soft cloth and neutral detergent to clean the meter for maintenance. To protect the meter, do not use corrosive agent or solvent to clear it

Display instruction

Appearance description

Key instruction

(Note: Short press less than 2 seconds, long press more than 3s.)

1. POWER: power switch. Short press this key to power on, long press this key to power off.

2. MAX/MIN: Maximum and Minimum value measurement or cancel the automatic shutdown
   Max. and Min. value measurement: short press this key to select the Max. and Min. value measurement; Long press this key to return the normal value measurement.
   Cancel the automatic shutdown: The automatic shutdown function is already set by default after the meter is turned on, without any operation for 10 minutes, the meter will shut down automatically. and you can cancel automatic shutdown function by press and hold the MAX/MIN key in the shutdown state, then short press the POWER key, and the symbol” ” on the screen will disappear.

3. HOLD/BL: data hold/backlight
   Data hold: short press once to hold the current measurement data, short press again to exit the data hold.
   Backlight: Long press this key to turn on the screen backlight, and long press again to turn off the backlight.

4. SELECT: Measurement unit selection
   Short press this key to select unit: LUX /FC (foot candle) unit (The LUX unit is already set by default after power on) 1 FC= 10.764 LUX 1 LUX = 0.093 FC

5. REL: Relative value measurement
   Short press this key to start relative value measurement, short press again to close.

6. RANGE: Range switching
   Short press this key can select manual range or automatic range. FC (foot candle) can select manual range in sequence: 20, 200, 2000, 20000. LUX can select manual range in sequence: 200, 2000, 20000, 200000.

Bluetooth instruction

1. Long press the REL/ key to open/close the Bluetooth function (BT model). To connect Bluetooth, you need to install AiLink App on your phone.
2. i0S device are available to download the App on App Store, Android device are available to download the App on Play Store, or please scan the QR code below to download.
3. Bluetooth App connect with our product: Open the Bluetooth of the product and your mobile phone at the same time, click into the App and press “+” key to search the devices around, and select the corresponding products to be connected in AiLink App.
