Product Usage Instructions
- Open the hood to your Macan and locate the factory airboxes.
- Lift up the rubber gasket seals on top of the airbox and place them to the side. Note: The rubber gasket will be used with the High Flow Ducts.
- Remove the (4) T-25 bolts from the top of the airbox. Lift the OEM tops off the factory airbox and fully remove the screws from the tops. Put them in a safe place as they will be reused on the High Flow Ducts.
- Lift up and slide the side panel of the factory airbox and place it to the side. If your Macan has a coolant reservoir bleeder valve attached to the air box side panel, simply pull up on the valve to remove it.
- Remove the factory air filter from the airbox by pulling near the airbox outlet.
- Place the High Flow Air Filter inside the airbox with the appropriate orientation to the airbox outlet. Press firmly on both the top and bottom to ensure the High Flow Air Filter slides into the airbox outlet. There is a small ridge on the air filter that goes over a plastic tab on the top side of the air box. The filter might feel loose, but the sliding side panel will secure the final fit of the filter.
- Ensure the filter is oriented correctly. Insert the side panel back into the airbox via the track located near the edge of the airbox. Slide the panel into place and ensure a snug fit.
- Place the High Flow Ducts on top of the factory airbox and insert the (4) screws into the holes of each airbox side. P is for the passenger-side airbox, while D is for the driver’s side airbox. Tighten the bolts down.
- Install the rubber gaskets on top of the High Flow Ducts and ensure they are properly set in the grooves. Press firmly on top of the rubber to ensure they are properly seated into the grooves.
- Close your hood and take your Macan for a spin. Enjoy the improved turbo response and power output!

MAINTENANCE OF FILTERS
The Flat 6 Motorsports High Flow Air Filters are designed to be lifetime filters but for optimal performance it is recommended to clean every 15,000 miles. To service the filters, fill a bucket with dish soap (Dove, Palmolive, etc.) and tap water. Place the filter into the bucket with thecleaning solution. Let soak for 8-10 minutes. Rinse the air filter out with water from the inside of thefilter pushing out any dirt. Do not use a pressure cleaner on the filter. Once rinsed thoroughly shake the filter to get as much water out of it then let it dry. Do not use a hair dryer, compressed air orany other kind of heat source to dry the filter. It may take a full day for the filter to properly dry.
