CENTERPOINTE CRI500 Earbuds
CRl-500 Custom Wireless Earbuds
Your CRl-500 wireless earbuds provide convenience, durability, an exceptionally wide frequency response range and Active Noise Cancellation to ensure superb audio quality. The CRl-500s have been optimized for use with Centerpointe”s Holosync audio technology, but can also be used to enjoy any music, audiobooks, or other audio entertainment.

Usage Instructions
- To power on earbuds: Remove earbuds from the charging case. If earbuds were not stored in case, long press 3 seconds to turn on. The earbuds will automatically connect to the previously paired device. Otherwise, they will enter a standby state. Note – if the earbuds are not connected to a device within 3 minutes, they will automatically turn off.
- To charge the earbuds, insert them into the charging case.
- To charge the charging case, connect it to a power source with the included USB-C cable.
- The charging display on the front of the case will indicate the percent level of charge of the case battery. The last digit will flash when the case is connected to a charger using the USB-C cable. The graphs on each side indicate the left and right earbuds are charging.
- A fully charged case can charge the earbuds about 4-5 times. The case itself will require approx 2 hours to charge, and the earbuds will take approx 1 hour to charge.
Pairing Instructions
To pair earbuds to your device for first time:
- Power on earbuds as previously described.
- Enable Bluetooth on your device and find the name “CRl-500”
- Select “connect” or “pair” on your device to pair the earbuds. The earbuds will remain paired to this device unless you unpair them, and will automatically re-pair the next time you power them on.
- To remove all previous pairings and reset earbuds to factory default settings, quickly tap left & right earbud pads 8 times simultaneously.
Playback Controls
All playback functions are controlled by lightly tapping on the earbud finger pads:
- Play/Pause music: Single tap left or right earbuds.
- Increase volume: Double tap right earbud.
- Reduce volume: Double tap left earbud.
- Skip to previous track: Triple tap left earbud.
- Skip to next track: Triple tap right earbud. Answer incoming call: Double tap left or right earbuds.
- Hang up call: Double tap left or right earbuds.
- Reject call: Long press one second on left or right earbuds.
- ANC (Active Noise Cancellation / Transparent) mode: Long press two seconds on right earbud to change modes.
- Low latency {gaming) mode: Tap 5 times on left or right earbud.
- Restore factory Settings: Quickly tap left & right earbud pads 8 times simultaneously to restore original factory settings.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What should I do if I have trouble pairing my earbuds to my phone/device?
- Make sure both the earbuds and your device are charged.
- Tum off Bluetooth mode on your device.
- Replace the earbuds in the charging case and wait 10 seconds.
- Remove the earbuds from the charging case.
- Tum Bluetooth back on your device and enter pairing mode.
- Look for CRl-500s on your device and select it to complete pairing.
- What should I do if I don’t hear sound from my earbuds?
- Verify earbuds are paired to correct device.
- Verify the volume is high enough on the earbuds. Make sure the earbuds are properly charged.
- Check that music is playing on the device (and not paused).
- What should I do if the earbuds stop playing or lose connection to the device?
- Verify the earbuds are still paired to the device. If not, reconnect as described above.
- Verify the earbud batteries are charged.
- Verify the music playback wasn’t accidentally paused or stopped.
- Move the earbuds closer to the playback device.
Precautions
- Handle your CRl-500s with care as they contain sensitive electronic components.
- Do not use your CRI-S00s if they are cracked or damaged.
- Do not attempt to disassemble the CRl-500s or the charging case as this can damage earbuds, lead to injury, and void the warranty.
- Never wear earbuds while driving, cycling, or in situations where you must be aware of your surroundings .
- Use caution when Active Noise Cancellation feature is on as it will limit your ability to hear external sounds.
- Do not listen at high volume levels as this can damage your hearing.
- Avoid exposing the CRl-500s to excessively hot, cold, or humid conditions.
- Do not immerse your CRl-500s in water.
- Keep the CRl-500s clean and free of dirt and grime.
- Always store your CRl-500s in the charging case to ensure the earbuds are adequately charged before each use.
- Avoid using CRI-S00s close to Wi-Fi routers or other high-frequency transmitting devices as this can interfere with the Bluetooth connection.
- Make sure your CRl-500s and device are no further than approximately 50 feet apart to ensure good Bluetooth connection.
- Avoid submerging CRl-500s in water or using them in wet environments as this can cause damage.
- Keep earbuds away from small children as they can pose a choking hazard if swallowed.
- Like all electronic devices, earbuds contain magnets and emit small amounts of electromagnetic fields which may interfere with certain pacemaker devices. Consult your physician if you have such a device before using.
One-Year Warranty
- The CRl-500s include a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
- Defects arising after one year from the date of purchase are not covered by this warranty.
- Damage or defects caused by the user, including accidental damage, or associated with normal use over time (wear and tear) is not covered by this warranty.
- Repairs, refunds, or replacements of defective merchandise is offered at the discretion of Centerpointe Research.
- Any shipping costs associated with the return or replacement of merchandise are the responsibility of the purchaser.
- It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that their devices or other accessories are compatible with the earbuds.
- This warranty is not transferable to 3rd parties and is applicable only to the purchaser.
- This warranty is provided in addition to those provided by consumer law.
