Dear customer,
This operating manual contains important information on commissioning and use.
Read the operating manual carefully before using the LED lamp. This applies
particularly to the safety advice. Otherwise, you may injure yourself or
damage the LED lamp. Keep the operating manual for future use. If you pass the
LED lamp on to a third party, be sure to hand over this operating manual as
well. These operating instructions can also be downloaded as a PDF 2le from
our website www.outsideliving.com.
Safety instructions
This device may be used by children from the age of 8 and upwards and also by
people with physical, sensory or mental disabilities or lacking suitable
knowledge and experience, provided they are supervised or have been instructed
in the use of the device and understand the resulting hazards.
The LED lamp is intended for private use only and is not suitable for
commercial applications. Only use the LED lamp as described in this operating
manual. Any other use is considered improper and can lead to damage to
property and/or personal injury. The LED lamp is not a toy. The manufacturer
or dealer accepts no liability for damage resulting from improper or incorrect
use.
Check the LED lamp and scope of delivery
Risk of damage
If you open the packaging carelessly with a sharp knife or other pointed
object, the LED lamp may be damaged. Take the LED lamp out of the packaging.
Check if there is any damage to the LED lamp or remote control. If this is the
case, contact the dealer immediately.
Assembly
- Take the LED lamp out of the packaging carefully. Remove the plastic card on the back of the remote control.
- Place the LED lamp in a place where it can reach a full 8 hours of sunshine so that the rechargeable battery can reach its maximum capacity.
- You can choose to place the LED lamp on land or on the water.
– For installation on land, mount the ground anchor at the intended location below the LED lamp and insert it together with the LED lamp into the ground.
Commissioning
To switch on the light, press and hold the ON/OFF switch on the bottom of the
LED lamp for approx. 2 seconds.
To adjust the color or effect, briefly press the on/o; button on the remote
control. Please refer to the following description for information on the
individual effects and settings In daylight, the LED lamp switches o;
automatically and charges the battery by itself. As soon as dusk falls or
night falls, the LED light detects this and switches on again automatically.
Periods out of use
If you do not use the LED lamp for a longer period of time, either let it stay in the water or lift the LED lamp out of the water and store it in a dry and frost-proof place.

Maintenance and care
Cleaning the housing
Only use water and a soft cloth. Be careful not to apply too much pressure to
the housing, otherwise it may be damaged. Clean the housing from time to time,
or when dust or dirt has accumulated, to maintain the full performance of the
solar panel.
Replacement of illuminants
The replacement of individual, defective LED diodes is not possible. The
a;ected device must be disposed completely.
Repairs
If the housing, LED strip or solar module are damaged, a repair is not possible. You may not continue using the a;ected part and it must be correctly disposed.
Troubleshooting
Do not repair the LED lamp yourself! If you use unsuitable parts for the
repair, the risk of an electrical short circuit can increase greatly. Some
problems may be caused by minor faults that you can 2x yourself. To do this,
follow the instructions below according to the problem in question.
If this does not solve the problem, please contact the customer service
department and keep the required information at hand according to the item
“Ordering spare parts”.

control on the back and replace the battery
Battery too low| Position the LED lamp in direct sunlight for approx. 8 hours

When ordering spare parts, or in the course of troubleshooting according to the item “Troubleshooting”, we require the following information:

Warranty
Our products are subject to stringent quality controls. However, we are very sorry if this device does fail to work properly. The following applies to the assertion of warranty claims:
- These warranty conditions are intended exclusively for consumers, i.e. natural persons who do not intend to use this product in the course of their commercial or other self-employed activities.
- Our warranty service covers the repair of material and manufacturing defects or the replacement of the device.
- Warranty claims are valid for a maximum of 2 years from the date of purchase. The assertion of warranty claims after the expiry of the warranty period is excluded.
- If the article is covered by the warranty, it will be repaired free of charge or replaced free of charge by an equivalent or similar article of our choice.
Repair or replacement of the device does not result in an extension of the
warranty period, nor does this service initiate a new warranty period for the
device or for any installed spare parts.
The following exclusions apply to our warranty:
- Damage to the device caused by non-compliance with the operating instructions (such as the exchange of another accumulator), non-compliance with the maintenance and safety regulations or by exposure of the device to abnormal environmental conditions or by lack of care.
- Damage to the device caused by misuse or improper application (such as overloading the device or using non-approved application tools or accessories), penetration of foreign bodies into the device (such as sand, stones or dust), use of force or external in`uences (such as damage due to dropping).
- Damage to the device or parts of the device resulting from normal, customary or other natural wear and tear.
Information on the safe removal of the batteries or rechargeable batteries
- Remove the 6 screws on the bottom part of the housing
- Lift the housing o; the base
- Remove the 2 screws, one each on the left and right of the solar module
- Lift the solar module with LED strip from the base
- Remove the plug connection of the battery from the solar module/LED strip
- The rechargeable battery and the device can now be disposed separately

Disposal of packaging :
Dispose of the packaging according to type. Put cardboard and card into waste
paper, and foil and bags in the recyclables collection
Disposal of waste equipment
Only for EU countries. Do not throw electrical items in household waste! The
owner of the electrical device can dispose of the waste equipment by handing
it over, for example, to a collection point in his municipality/borough, which
will ensure that it is properly recycled.
Separate collection of waste equipment:
Electrical and electronic equipment that has become waste is referred to as
waste equipment. Owners of waste equipment must dispose of it separately from
unsorted municipal waste. Waste equipment in particular does not belong in
household waste, but in special collection and return systems. Options for
returning waste equipment: Owners of waste equipment from private households
can return it to the collection points of the public waste management
authorities or to the collection points set up by manufacturers or
distributors within the meaning of the Electrical and Electronic Equipment

and valuable raw materials can be recovered. In case of improper disposal,
toxic ingredients may be released into the environment, causing adverse health

appliance whenever possible. Only return batteries and rechargeable batteries
when they are discharged.
For batteries and rechargeable batteries containing lithium, tape o; the
terminals before disposal to prevent external short-circuiting. A short
circuit can lead to a 2re or explosion.
