Installation
Remove the exterior and interior packaging wipe the outside thoroughly with a
soft dry cloth and the inside with a wet, lukewarm cloth. Avoid placing the
unit in a narrow recess or near any heat source, direct sunlight, or moisture.
Let air circulate freely around the unit. Keep the back of the refrigerator 5
inches away from the wall.
Location
- Select a place with a strong, level floor.
- Allow 5 inches of space between the back of the refrigerator and any adjacent wall.
- Avoid direct sunlight and heat. Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic coating. Heat sources nearby will cause higher electricity consumption.
- Avoid very humid places. Too much moisture in the air will cause frost to form very quickly on the evaporator, and your refrigerator will have to be defrosted very frequently.
Operation
To avoid vibration, the unit must be level. To start the refrigerator, turn the temperature control to the position that corresponds with the desired cooling setting. The refrigerator temperature will vary depending on the quantity of food being stored and how often the door is opened.
Temperature controller/Defrost timer
- “Down” Button: (Cooler) Used to decrease the temperature in 1 ° increments.
- “UP” Button: (Warmer) Used to raise the temperature in 1 ° increments.
- Temperature Display: Displayscreen shows the temperature.
- F/°C Button: Used to switch between the Fahrenheit and Celsius scales. Adjacent indicator lights denote which scale of temperature is displayed.
The temperature range can be set as low as 32° F (0°C) or as high as 46° F (8°C) to suit your specific storage requirements. Each depression of the UP (.. ) or down ( ) button will allow you to adjust the temperature 1 increments within the aforementioned range.
Defrost timer setting (set the timer to local time)
At the bottom of control box you could find a small hole close to the front
control panel.
- Using a pen or other similar non conductive object, push the button inside small hole and hold for three -seconds until the “H” flash on the display window.
- Press to adjust H value (range from 0 ~ 23 hours, default: 12 hours) equals to the hour of local time. Wait 10 seconds or Push small hole and hold for three seconds to exit the timer setting mode.
Example: If the local time is 16:30 at the time of the installation, the following procedure would be followed:
- Using a pen or other similar non-conductive object, push the button inside small hole and hold for three -seconds until the “H” flash on the display window.
- Press to adjust the display to 16 or 17 (to the closest hour)
- Wait 10 seconds or push small hole and hold for three seconds.
- After finished the above temperature and timer setting, the fridge will run at the setting temperature, and defrost automatically between 1 :00am and 04:00am (compressor stop) daily.
Note: The timer needs to be reprogrammed after each power failure or if the unit is unplugged.
Refrigerator Bracket & Microwave Installation
- Place the bracket on top of the refrigerator with the rear lip of the bracket facing upward. The rear lip of the bracket should be lined up with the back edge of the refrigerator, with the two side loops facing upwards to attach to the microwave.
- With the bracket lined up as stated above, the preset holes on top of the refrigerator should be lined up with the holes on the bracket. Attach the bracket to the refrigerator using the six screws that come supplied with the refrigerator.
- Place the microwave oven on top of the refrigerator and inside the two upright loops on the sides and in front of the two upright loops on the back of the bracket. Line up the holes on each side and on the back of the bracket and attach the microwave using the screws supplied. The two back screws come supplied with the refrigerator while the two side screws are already on the microwave. Please remove the two microwave screws prior to placing the microwave oven on top of the refrigerator.
Care and Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean the inside of the unit, use a soft cloth and a solution of one
tablespoon of baking soda to one quart of water, or a mild soap suds solution,
or some mild detergent. Wash ice cube tray, drip tray, and shelves in a mild
detergent solution, then dry and wipe them with a soft cloth. Clean the
outside with a soft damp cloth and some mild detergent or an appliance
cleaner.
Power Failure
Most power failures are corrected within an hour or two and will not affect
your refrigerator’s temperature. You should however minimize the number of
times the door opened while the power is off. During extended power failures
take steps to protect your food by placing dry ice on top of packages.
If You Are Moving
Remove or securely fasten all loose items inside the refrigerator. To avoid
damaging the leveling screws, turn them all the way into the base.
Some Important Rules for the Correct Use of the Refrigerator
