Product Information
KAN-EOS DIY Series
The KAN-EOS DIY Series is a refrigeration system that comes with Vacuum
Pre-drawn Refrigeration Lines. These lines make the installation process
simple and easy without the need for any specific equipment. The system
includes male connectors A and B for the indoor and outdoor units,
respectively. The line is equipped with two sealable fittings for connecting
the indoor unit C and two sealable fittings with pressure tap D for the
outdoor unit.
Product Usage Instructions:
- Unroll the pipes carefully, being careful not to unroll more than the desired distance. Avoid crushing the copper lines while using your feet for support.
- Install male connectors A and B on the indoor and outdoor units before any connection with the link.
- Make sure that the connections are properly tightened. Draw an imaginary line or use a marker and add a 1/4 turn tightening to ensure tightness.
- Tighten the metal lids with two wrenches, one per fitting, to avoid unscrewing other parts of the fittings. Connectors must be tight until a marked increase in resistance.
- Install the link so that the male and female fittings are perfectly aligned. Remove the plastic protective caps and screw the fittings on by hand one after the other. Do not force it with a wrench if they are misaligned.
- Open the bottom valve on the outdoor unit for 4-5 seconds and close it. Perform a leak test with soap and water. Apply to all connectors a sponge previously moistened with water and dishwashing liquid mixture. If bubbles form on the connections, tighten more.
- After checking the connections, open the 2 valves on the external unit completely.
Note: Before final tightening, make sure to tighten the connectors 20% and then 50% before tightening them completely at 100%.
INSTALLATION

Install the link so that the male and female fittings are perfectly aligned.
Remove the plastic protective caps.
Screw the fittings on by hand one after the other. If you can’t, it’s because they’re misaligned, so don’t force it with a wrench. -
When the metal lids come into contact you feel resistance and can no longer aim by hand. (At this time, the two lines are still tight). To tear the caps, you must tighten with two wrenches, one per fitting, to avoid unscrewing the other parts of the fittings. Connectors must be tight
until a marked increase in resistance -
In order to ensure the tightness you must make sure that the connections are properly tightened.
To do this, draw an imaginary line or with a marker and add a 1/4 turn tightening…
No threads should be visible. -
Continue with opening the bottom valve on the outdoor unit for 4-5 seconds (see Kanartic documentation) and close it.
Perform a leak test with soap and water: Apply to all the connectors a sponge previously moistened with water and dishwashing liquid (the mixture must be foamy), if bubbles form on the connections you must tighten more…
When the connections are checked you can open the 2 valves on the external unit completely (be careful not to force).
