TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OE WARRANTY AND SERVICE POLICY

Maya Appliances reserves the rights to alter the terms & conditions of the Warranty & Service Policy without any notice.

1. The Warranty is valid only in the country of purchase, and valid only for purchase made from Vidiem’s Authorized Distribution channels. The product must be registered in https://www.vidiem.in/product-registration to avail Warranty.
2. Retain the Original Sale Bill and the Warranty Card, which should be shown to our Service Personnel for scrutiny while sending your Electric Kettle for service to our Authorized Service Centre.
3. The Warranty does not cover damage to the Electric Kettle due to mishandling/negligence, breakage of Body, Handle, Lid & Power Indicator.
4. All repairs within the Warranty period (arising from manufacturing defects) will be done Free of Charge, for service at our Authorized Service Centres only.
5. Free service and replacement under Warranty does not affect the expiry date of the Warranty.
6. For repairs after the expiry of the Warranty period our Service Centre will levy a nominal charge on components replaced.
7. Defective components which are exchanged both under ‘Chargeable’ & ‘Free of Charge’ basis become the property of the Company.
8. If any unauthorized person tampers with the Products the Warranty is void.
9. The decision of Maya Appliances in the disputes pertaining to terms & conditions of the Warranty & Service Policy shall be final & binding.
10. All disputes pertaining to terms and conditions of our Warranty & Service Policy shall be in subject to jurisdiction of Chennai Courts only.
11. Warranty is applicable for all products, provided it is acknowledged or bears Stamp of the Authorized Dealer.
12. Irrespective of Dealer seal, the serial number of the product must be clearly stated in the warranty card.
13. In the case of eBay, Olx etc., if this is a second sales by a individual buyer, the warranty must be preserved and also transferred. This will then be honored as per the conditions of the warranty.
14. If it is a new sales by a Dealer on online stores like Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal etc. or any similar online sale by a Dealer, the Warranty will continue to be honored.
15. The responsibility of reaching the product to the authorized service center of Vidiem is with the customer/buyer.
16. Warranty does not cover any use of this product other than for domestic use.

Before First Use

1. While unpacking make sure that all parts of the Electric Kettle are present.
2. Follow the below “USAGE INSTRUCTIONS” to remove stain’s & any fine dust particles.

Usage Instruction

1. Open the Kettle Lid and Fill the water up to the marked level (Max) and Close the Lid.
2. Keep the Kettle on Powerbase and connect to Main power supply,
3. Ensure Kettle spout is facing away from the user.
4. Switch ‘ON’ the main power supply then switch ‘ON’ the power switch on the kettle.
5. The indicator will start glow immediately after the power switch is ‘ON’.
6. The water will start to boil and once water is boiled , the indicator or power switch will ‘OFF’ Automatically’.
7. You can stop the boiling process at any time by switching ‘OFF’ the Kettle.

Cleaning

1. Switch ‘OFF’ & unplug the Kettle before cleaning.
2. Use soft/damp cloth for cleaning the Kettle.
3. Do not use bleach or other abrasive substance or solvents to clean your Kettle, it can damage the surface

De-Scaling

Add 500ml white Vinegar, soak for one hour & remove the Vinegar , wash 4-5 times using water.

Do’s

1. Place the Kettle on a flat Surface
2. Ensure the Kettle Lid is closed before the Kettle is switched ‘ON’
3. This Kettle is designed only for boiling water
4. This Kettle can be used only with the attached Powerbase .
5. Unplug the Power cord when not in use.
6. Ensure that the Power cord is away from the Kettle body
7. Please ensure proper Power supply correspond to the Kettle specification sticker.
8. The Kettle should be cleaned regularly to remove scale .
9. Ensure that the Kettle base and Powerbase is dry before operation.

Don’ts

1. Do not immerse the Kettle, Power cord and Powerbase in water.
2. Do not allow children to use the Kettle.
3. Do not switch ‘ON’ the Kettle without water.
4. Do not touch hot surface while Kettle is in ‘ON’.
5. Do not open the Kettle Lid while water is in boiling.
6. Do not operate the Kettle with damaged Power cord.
7. Do not fill the water above the maximum level in the Kettle.
8. Do not remove the Kettle from the Powerbase before switching ‘OFF’.
9. Do not attempt to repair the Kettle on your own.
10. Do not use Chemical, Metal or Abrasive cleaner to clean the Kettle.
