VERSATILITY FOR THE MASSES
Dell has dramatically simplified standardization on a single thin client platform across the enterprise, helping extend the security, cost and manageability benefits of thin clients deeper into your organization.
The Wyse 5070 can be configured as an economic task worker station and, within the same platform definition, be fashioned for a power user utilizing 3D design applications on multiple 4K monitors. It’s designed and validated for VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft VDI environments, and features your choice of OS – a hardened and optimized Wyse ThinLinux, Microsoft Windows 10 IoT Enterprise, or Dell’s exclusive, virus-resistant Wyse ThinOS.
Networking connectivity options include dual-band wireless as well as wired Ethernet and SFP. Physically compact, the 5070 features twenty-one ports and slots for remarkable expandability. The Wyse 5070 can also be mounted with one of the numerous wall and monitor options from Dell.

Visually immersive computing is not going backward. The Wyse 5070 delivers eye-popping 3840 x 2160 UltraHD resolution for the growing number of apps and content that can take advantage of this ultra-sharp, ultra-rich experience. We call it “True 4K” and we define it as 4K@60Hz resolution on multiple monitors– and only Wyse 5070 delivers it in a mid-range platform.
The Pentium configuration can play a 4K full-motion video at 30 fps, run multimedia apps at 4K on a second monitor, and even display productivity applications on a third screen at 1080p resolution – all from the onboard graphics engine. Take the experience to the extreme with an AMD Radeon E9173 to enable up to six displays, four at 4K and two at 2K resolutions.

The following configuration limitations apply to the rear panel option port. WiFi, SFP, and 2nd RJ45 are mutually exclusive due to constraints in networking IR resources. SFP, 2nd RJ45, VGA connector, and 2nd serial port are mutually exclusive on the Slim chassis due to the physical constraints of the singular option port. SFP, 2nd RJ45, and VGA connector are mutually exclusive on the Extended chassis. 10
