INSERTING/ REPLACING BATTERIES

  1. Remove the screws securing the battery compartment cover on the underside of your Truck, and the battery compartment of the remote controller.
  2. Insert 2 AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment of the remote controller. Insert 4 AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment of the Monster Truck.
  3. Make sure to insert the batteries with the correct polarities(+.-) as indicated in the compartment.
  4. Once batteries are inserted, place the cover back onto the compartments making sure they are securely closed.VIVITAR-VARC40081-RC-Monster -Truck-FIG 1

POWERING ON

Slide the ON/OFF Switch on both the remote controller (located at the front) and the Monster Truck (located next to the battery compartment) to the ON position to power them on. Slide them to the OFF position to power them off.

SYNCHRONIZING THE REMOTE CONTROLLER WITH THE MONSTER TRUCK
Once you power on both your Monster Truck and your remote control wait for a few moments as they synchronize to the same frequency.
Once synchronized, it is time to operate your vechicle!

OPERATING YOUR MONSTER TRUCK

Press the up and down arrows to move your Monster Truck forward or backwards. Push the left and right buttons to turn your Monster Truck.

IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  • Remove batteries if you will not be using your Monster Truck for an extended period of time.
  • Do not expose to water, liquids, moisture or high humidity.
  • Do not expose to direct sunlight, high heat, flames or fire.
  • Do not attempt to repair this product yourself. If it is not working properly, contact a qualified technician or the manufacturer.
  • Clean using a soft cloth. Do not expose to harsh detergents.
  • Make sure to use with adult supervision, particularly when changing batteries.

WARRANTY

VIVITAR ONE YEAR WARRANTY
This warranty covers the original consumer purchaser only and is not transferable.
This warranty covers products that fail to function properly UNDER NORMAL USAGE, due to defects in material or workmanship. Your product will be repaired or replaced at no charge for parts or labor for a period of one year.

What Is Not Covered by Warranty
Damages or malfunctions not resulting from defects in material or workmanship and damages or malfunctions from other than normal use, including but limited to, repair by unauthorized parties, tampering, modification or accident.

To receive Warranty service along with the name and address of an authorized product service center, the original consumer purchaser must contact us for problem determination and service procedures. Proof of purchase in the form of a bill of sale or receipted invoice, evidencing that the product is within the applicable Warranty period(s). MUST be presented in order to obtain the requested service. It is your responsibility to properly package and send any defective products along with a dated copy of proof of purchase, a written explanation of the problem, and a valid return address to the authorized service center at your expense. Do not include any other items or accessories with the defective product. Any products received by the authorized service center that are not covered by warranty will be returned unrepaired.

BATTERY WARNING:

  • Do not mix old and new batteries.
  • Do not mix alkaline, standard {carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickle-cadmium) batteries.
  • Batteries are not to be inserted with the wrong polarity.
  • Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
  • The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
