Product Information:
The EIYO HOME&CAR Scaldabiberon is a bottle warmer that can be used at home and in the car. The warmer is suitable for all conventional baby bottles and jars. The device is energy-efficient and can keep food/drinks constantly warm. The package includes a bottle holder, adaptor ring, and a 30ml measuring cup.
Safety Precautions:
- Always use the bottle holder when keeping the milk bottles or jars of baby food warm.
- The baby bottle/jar of baby food must never come into direct contact with the heater.
- Do not use the bottle warmer in dry condition (without water).
- Always check the temperature before feeding your baby.
- Keep out of reach of children aged under 3 years.
Product Usage Instructions:
Home Use:
- Fill the bottle warmer with water before use.
- Place the bottle in the warmer.
- Turn the control knob to the desired temperature (40-70).
- Allow the bottle to warm for 10-15 minutes.
- Check the temperature of the milk by sprinkling a few drops on the inside of your wrist.
- Shake the bottle or stir the food to ensure the heating is spread evenly.
- Turn off the device and unplug the power cord after use.
Car Use:

Connect the home plug with cigar lighter, plug cigar lighter in the car.

Place the bottle in the warmer.

Turn the control knob to the desired temperature (40-70).

Wait for 10-15 minutes and check the temperature of the drink
by pouring a few drops on the back of your hand. -
The device will turn off automatically while maintaining a constant temperature.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Clean the bottle warmer periodically to ensure proper operation.
- Do not immerse the device in water.
- Use a damp cloth to clean the surface of the device.
Warning:
- The surface of the heating element remains hot at the end of each heating cycle.
- Do not use the bottle warmer without adult supervision for children aged over 3 years.

The European standard EN 60335 provides, for protecting the safety of
children, that any use of the product by children aged more than 3 years shall
only happen under the supervision of an adult.
In compliance with the provisions of the current legislation, it is important to follow carefully the safety precautions listed below:
- Whilst the heater is being used, and immediately afterwards, it will contain hot water and must, therefore, not be moved.
- Always keep the heater and power supply cable away from the reach of children.
- Before plugging the heater into the electrical socket for the first time, make sure that the unit’s voltage is compatible with the voltage of your power supply, checking the information that can be found on the base of the unit.
- When the unit is not being used, and before proceeding with its cleaning, unplug it from the electrical socket.
- Always connect the device to an electrical socket with a properly installed protective earth. In order to avoid the risk of electrocution, do not submerge the cable, the plug, or the device in any liquid. When cleaning the device, only use a damp cloth.
- If there are children nearby whilst the device is being used, extreme vigilance is required. Children must not use the device.
- Children should not play with this device.
- Do not use accessories which have not been recommended by the manufacturer, since this could cause the risk of fire, electrocution, or personal injury.
- Do not use the device outside or for any commercial purposes. The device must only be used to serve the purpose for which it has been designed.
- Always keep the device on a flat and stable surface. Do not allow the cable to hang over the edge of a table or countertop and do not allow it to come into contact with hot surfaces.
- Note – Pre-warming is not necessary and it is not recommended.
- Pour the desired amount of water from the tap into the unit only before it is powered on. If there is an excessive amount of water in the unit, remove it before powering it on.
- Do not place the unit close to sources of heat such as ovens or gas or electric cookers.
- There is a risk of fire if the heater is covered up during its use or if it comes into contact with, or is simply excessively close to, inflammable materials, such as, for example, curtains, fabrics, papers, etc. whilst it is operational. Make sure that there is no object or material on the heater when it is being used.
- Do not cover the heater with any metal film (aluminum foil), since this could cause the device to produce an excessive amount of heat. Do not place any inflammable material, such as, for example, paper, card, or plastic film, or any other material which could catch fire or melt, on or near the heater.
- Once heating has finished, remove the baby bottle or the jar of baby food immediately to avoid its temperature continuing to increase.
- Make sure always to follow the heating instructions in order to avoid the baby bottle or jar of baby food heating up during an excessively long period of time.
- For the sake of the safety of your children – always check the temperature of the baby food/milk by placing a small amount on a sensitive part of your body (forearm of the back of your hand – not over 37 C °).
- It is important not to repeat the cycle with the same bottle or jar and, in general, it is not advisable to heat food too long.
- At the end of the jar heating cycle, before feeding the heated food to the baby, check that the temperature is not too high by tasting it with a babyspoon.
- When filling the tank with water and when using and handling the product, be careful not to spill liquids or food on the connector

At the end of each heating cycle, the surface of the heating element is still
hot.
- Never use any device whose cable or plug has been damaged or if it is not working correctly. Return the device to the nearest authorized center for its inspection, repair, or adjustment. The cable that is supplied with the device is short in order to reduce the risk of getting tangled or causing a tripping hazard. Extension cables are to be used (or the long removable power supply cable):
- The electrical requirements marked on the removable power supply cable must be the same as, or more than, those of the device.
- The device has an earth safety grounding and, therefore, the extension cable must have three wires including the earth connection.
- You must avoid the cables hanging or creating an obstacle in order to minimize the risk of tripping on it or hooking it or accidentally pulling it (especially for children).
- We recommends that children of any age do not use or play or clean with this item, even under the supervision of an adult person
- This device must not be used by people (including children)whose physical, sensory, or cognitive capabilities are reduced, or who lack the experience and expertise necessary to use it, unless they do so under supervision or they have been given instructions regarding the devices use by a person who is responsible for their safety.
- The appliance is intended for indoor use only; do not leave it exposed to the sun, rain and any other atmospheric conditions.
- To avoid possible burns, during and at the end of the operating cycle, take care as: the water and the upper surface of the appliance may be very hot. Always carefully remove the bottle and/or baby food jar at the end of the operating and/or maintenance cycle as they may be hot.

- Only use the device in areas where there are no curtains, furniture, or other furnishings which could be affected by the heat.
- Use the heater in areas which are sufficiently ventilated. Only use utensils which are heat resistant.
- Allow the unit to cool off completely before putting it away.

- The final temperature of the food and the heating time depend on the quantity to be heated, its initial temperature (room temperature or refrigerator), the consistency of the preparation, the position of the selection knob, the type and size of the container used (plastic feeding bottle, glass feeding bottle, baby food jar).
- After turning off the device, allow it to cool down completely (by disconnecting it from the electrical outlet) before using it again.

Before starting using the unit, it is advisable to read carefully this
instruction manual.
It is also advisable to save this manual for a future use.

Control Knob
With this warmer you can warm all sorts of baby food and drinks and keep them
warm in an energy-efficient way.
The warmer is suitable for all conventional baby bottles and jar.
Home and car use
Keeps food/drinks constantly warm.
Operations – HOME use
use keep warm:
-
Fill the bottle warmer with drinking water up to the level of the half milk in the bottle.
An accurate water level ensures correct warming performance. -
Connect the home plug to the socket. The indicator light below the icon for home use will be on, The warmer is ready for use.

Select the desired setting, symbol keeps warming around 40℃.
Symbol keeps warming around 70℃. The home use indicator will turn on while heating. And it will turn off automatically while it reaches constant temperature. -
If you want to heat faster, you could turn the knob to Max position, when it reaches your desired temperature, turn it off and unplug
To heat : baby food jars: turn the knob to the position for about 12 minutes. -
150-mL feeding bottle: turn the knob to the position for about 12 minutes.

240-mL/250-mL feeding bottle: turn the knob to the position for about 12 minutes.
WARNING: If left in position for a long period longer to the recommended one, the maximum possible temperature of the content is 70 ° C. 330-mL feeding bottle: turn the knob to the position for about 12 minutes -
WARNING: If left in position for a long period longer to the recommended one, the maximum possible temperature of the content is 90 ° C.

Following the heating times listed above, the bottles will take about 12 minutes to reach the optimal temperature of 37°C.
The values are indicative and to be considered as example only ;different factors may cause increasing or decreasing the heating time (example, starting temperature or the density of the preparation).
In case bottles or jar will be used later, please turn the control knob to this position to maintain a temperature of 37°C. -
WARNING: When heating baby food, it is advisable to mix the contents of the jar often to even out the temperature.

Bottle warmer can be turn off at any time, move the selector switch to OFF and disconnect the power cable plug of the bottle warmer from the power socket
Warning
WARNING: Shake baby bottle fore some seconds after heating, to even out
the temperature of the milk/food contained; always control the temperature by
pouring a few drops on the inside of your wrist.
Note: Do not heat too much; valuable nutrients and vitamins contained in
breastmilk could be lost.
WARNING: Before feeding the heated food to the child, always make sure
that the temperature of the food is not too high.
If the food is not hot enough warm, insert it in the bottle warmer and start a
new cycle. Check the heating status at regular intervals, making sure not to
get burned, until the desired temperature is reached.
NOTE: When using the bottle warmer at home always only USE IT WITH WATER Do not use in “dry” condition (without water) as you risk damaging the bottle.
Caution:
- Always use the bottle holder when do the keep warm function. The milk bottles or jars of baby food must never come into direct contact with the heater, since this could mean that heating is not optimal and the baby bottle/jar of baby food could be damaged.
- The device stop working for a moment once the water was dry off , you should turn off the device and unplug the power cord, otherwise the device will resume working when the heating plate temperature cool down .
- After heating, you need to shake the milk or stir the food to ensure the heating is spread evenly. Always check the temperature before you feed your baby. Gently shake the bottle or milk storage container and then check the temperature of the milk by sprinkling a few drops on the inside of your wrist.
Operation – Car use keep warm
Connect the home plug with cigar lighter, plug cigar lighter in the car, no
need to add water. Just place the bottle in the warmer, turn the control knob
to 40-70℃ position. The warmer starts to keep warm.
The indicator light below the icon for car use will be on while heating, It
will turn off automatically while constant temperature.
NOTE: During the heating phase the CAR LED will lights on and off several times. Wait 10 – 15 minutes and check the temperature of the drink by pouring a few drops on the back of the hand.
Cleaning and Maintenance
To ensure proper operation it is recommended to clean periodically the appliance. Here below there are some guidelines on how to clean the bottle warmer:
- Unplug from main power and allow the device has cooled.
- Pour any remaining water, if any, and clean the heating element with a soft and clean cloth.
- Clean the external side with a soft, clean cloth dampened with water.
- Scale residues found on the heater plate are quite normal and the severity will depend on where you live and the hardness of your local tap water, these residues can be periodically removed by using a dilute solution of 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water, pour into the heater tray and leave for an hour, rinse off and clean before reusing to heat bottles.
NOTE: When cleaning do not use harsh or abrasive substances, and especially not submerse any bottle warmer water or similar liquid.
