SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Read all of the instructions before using this appliance.
When using this appliance, always exercise basic safety precautions, including
the following:

Use this appliance only for its intended purpose as described in this use and care guide.

This freezer must be properly installed in accordance with the installation instructions before it is used. See grounding instructions in the installation section.

Never unplug your freezer by pulling on the power cord. Always grasp the plug firmly and pull it straight out from the outlet.
-
Repair or replace immediately, all electric service cords that have become frayed or otherwise damaged. Do not use a cord that shows cracks or abrasion damage along its length, the plug or the connector end.

Unplug your freezer before cleaning or making any repairs.
Note: If a product requires service, we strongly recommend contacting an authorized technician to perform the task. -
Do not use any electrical device or sharp tool to defrost your freezer.

If your old freezer is not being used, we recommend that you remove the door(s) to reduce the possibility of danger to children.

Once your freezer is in operation, do not touch the cold surfaces in the freezer compartment, particularly when your hands are damp or wet. The skin may adhere to these extremely cold surfaces.

Do not refreeze foods, which have been thawed completely. The United States Department of Agriculture in Home and Garden Bulletin No.69 reads:”… You may safely refreeze frozen foods that have thawed if they still contain ice crystals or if they are still cold-below 4.4℃”.
“… Thawed ground meats, poultry, or fish that have any off-odor or off-color should not be refrozen and should not be eaten. Thawed ice cream should be discarded. Discard the foods if found to change of odor or color as it may be harmful to be consumed.” “… Foods with partially thawing or re-freezing will reduce its food quality, particularly fruits, vegetables, and cooked foods. Red meat is less affected than any other food. Consumer use refrozen foods as soon s possible, to save as much of their eating quality as they can.” -
This freezer should not be recessed or built-in in an enclosed cabinet. It is designed for freestanding installation only.

Do not operate your freezer in the presence of explosive fumes.

The use of an extension cord is not recommended.
-
People (including children) who lack product experience and knowledge are not recommended to use unless under supervision or given instruction on how to use the appliance in a safer or correct way.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
-
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

WARNING: Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the built-in
structure, clear of obstruction.
– WARNING: Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
– WARNING: Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
– WARNING: Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments of the appliance, unless they are of the type recommended by the manufacturer. -
Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this appliance.

The refrigerant of this product is using R600a and insulation-blowing gases is using cyclopentane. Hence, servicing and disposal of appliances should be done by qualified personnel.

This appliance is intended to be used in households and similar applications such as
– staff kitchen areas in shops, offices, and other working environments;
– farmhouses and by clients in hotels, motels, and other residential-type environments;
– bed and breakfast type environments;
– catering and similar non-retail applications -
Do not replace the LED light by yourself, please contact the supplier if necessary.

In the case of not using the freezer for a long term, please unplug the power cord and turn off the power. And clean the freezer inner liner according to the cleaning method described above and dry it to prevent food from becoming moldy and deteriorating in a sealed state for a long time. After cleaning, dry the freezer and seal it.

Acid, alkali, salt, etc. are likely to cause corrosion of the inner liner, foods containingsuch ingredients (such as marine fish) should not directly contact with the inner liner, and dirty water in the inner liner should be cleaned in time.

The symbol indicates there is a risk of fire since flammable materials are used.

WARNING: When positioning the appliance, ensure the supply cord is not trapped or damaged.

Installing Your Freezer
Unpacking Your Freezer
- Remove all packaging material. This includes the foam base and all adhesive tape holding the freezer accessories inside and outside.
- Inspect and remove any remains of packing, tape, or printed materials before powering on the freezer.
Adjusting Your Freezer

Your freezer is designed for freestanding installation only.
It should not be recessed or built-in. -
Place the freezer on a floor strong enough to support it fully loaded.
-
When moving the freezer, never tilt it at more than a 45-degree angle.
This could damage the compressor and the sealed system. -
If the freezer is tilted, let it stand in an upright position for at least 24 hours prior to plugging. This is to allow the refrigerant to settle.
Proper Air Circulation
- To assure your freezer works at the maximum efficiency it was designed for, you should install it in a location where there is proper air circulation, plumbing, and electrical connections.
- The following are recommended clearances around the refrigerator:

Electrical Requirement
- Make sure there is a suitable power outlet (220 volts, 15 amps outlet) with proper grounding to power the freezer.
- Avoid the use of three-plug adapters or cutting off the third grounding in order to accommodate a two plug outlet. This is a dangerous practice since it provides no effective grounding for the freezer and may result in shock hazards.
Install Limitations
- Do not install your freezer in any location that is not properly insulated or heated e.g. garage etc. Your freezer was not designed to operate in temperature settings below 0℃.
- Select a suitable location for the freezer on hard even surfaces away from direct sunlight or heat source e.g. radiators, baseboard heaters, cooking appliances, etc. Any floor unevenness should be corrected.
Freezer Features And Use
Operating Your Freezer
- Once the freezer is in its proper place, plug it into an electrical outlet having 220 volts and 15 amps.
- In case you unplug your freezer or experience an electrical outage, allow 5 minutes before plugging it back in.
General Features
Adjustable temperature dial: Your freezer will automatically maintain the
temperature level you select.
The temperature control dial has 7 settings.
“1” is the warmest, “7 “is the coldest. Set the dial to “4” and allow 24 hours
to pass before adjusting the temperature to your needs.
(Note: If the freezer has been placed in a horizontal or tilted position for
any period of time, wait 24 hours before plugging the unit in.)
Fast Freeze
(see fig. #1)
Your freezer is equipped with a Fast Freeze gear (Super -gear), which will
allow you to quickly freeze food when you have added a lot of food at one
time. Adjust to Fast Freeze gear, yellow light on, and the compressor will
run continuously. Exit the Fast Freeze gear when food reached the desired
temperature.
Note: When filling the appliance with higher quantities of fresh food, it
is recommended to turn on the Super Freeze function (if available) 24 hours in
advance. Do not forget to exit the Fast Freeze gear when not required. It can
avoid unnecessary energy use. 
Ref.(refrigerate): When dialed near the “1-2” position, the interior
average temperature of the freezer is approximately 8C~0℃.
Frz.(freeze): When the dial is near the “3-7” position, the interior
average temperature of the freezer is approximately 0℃~-24℃.

Food Storage Basket
(see fig.#1)
- Your freezer has 1 or 2 removable baskets. It allows you to store food more accessibly or you can remove it if not needed.
Defrosting and Draining The Freezer

Defrost whenever the frost becomes 1/4″ thick. Never use a sharp or metallic tool to remove the frost as it may damage the cooling coils. (A punctured coil will void the warranty)

For draining, unplug the unit and place a tray beneath the outer drain plug. Pull out the drain dial (see fig.#2) and rotate it so that the arrow points downwards. This will let the water flow out into the tray.

Remove the drain plug from the inside of the freezer. Defrosting usually takes a few hours. To defrost faster, keep the freezer door open.
Once done, push the drain dial in and turn the arrow to the up position. Replug the drain plug inside the freezer compartment.
Note: monitor the container under the drain to avoid overflow. -
Wipe the interior of the freezer and replace the electrical plug in the electrical outlet.
Lock and Key
- If your freezer has a lock and key feature to secure the freezer,
Close the lid and turn the key to lock. Turn the key in the direction to unlock.
Castors
If your freezer can be equipped with castors for easy moving,
We recommend installing castors before using the freezer.
Install the following these easy steps:

Remove the food basket from the freezer

Slowly tilt the freezer on its side
-
Tap one castor into the bottom of the freezer.
Fasten the castor into place with the screws provided. -
Install the other three castors in the same manner.

Return the freezer to its upright position and replace the food basket.
Note: It is important to wait for 24 hours after installation before plugging in the unit to allow the refrigerant to stabilize.
Food Storage Information
Frozen Food:
-
Wipe containers before storing them to avoid needless spills.
-
Hot food should be cool before storing it in the freezer.
This will prevent unnecessary energy use. -
When storing meats, keep them in the original packaging or rewrap them as necessary.

Proper freezer storage requires foods to be packed correctly so that it will flow of air or moisture to be in, or out. Improper storage/food packaging will color and taste transfer and it will also result in drying out the food.

Follow package or container instructions for proper storage.

Do not refreeze defrosted/thawed foods.

It is recommended that the freezing date be marked on the packaging.
Normal Operating Sounds You May Hear
- Water boiling, gurgling sounds, or slight vibrations are the result of the refrigerant circulating through the cooling coils.
- The thermostat control will click when it cycles on and off
Proper Freezer Care and Cleaning
Cleaning and Maintenance
Warning: To avoid electric shock always unplug your freezer before
cleaning.
Ignoring this warning may result in death or injury.
Caution: Before using cleaning products, always read and follow the
manufacturer’s instructions and warnings to avoid personal injury or product
damage.
General:
- Prepare a cleaning solution of 3-4 tablespoons of baking soda mixed with warm water. Use a sponge or soft cloth, dampened with the cleaning solution, to wipe down your freezer.
- Rinse with clean warm water and dry with a soft cloth.
- Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, ammonia, chlorine bleach, concentrated detergents, solvents, or metal scouring pads. Some of these chemicals may dissolve, damage, and/or discolor your freezer.
Door Gaskets:

Clean door gaskets every three months according to general instructions.
Gaskets must be kept clean and pliable to assure a proper seal. -
Petroleum jelly applied lightly on the hinge side of gaskets will keep the gasket pliable and assure a good seal.
Power Interruptions
- Occasionally there may be power interruptions due to thunderstorms or other causes. Remove the power cord from the AC outlet when a power outage occurs. When power has been restored, replug the power cord with the AC outlet. If the outage is for a prolonged period, inspect and discard spoiled or thawed food in the freezer. Clean freezer before reusing it.
Vacation and Moving Care
- For long vacations or absences, empty food from the freezer, unplug your freezer and clean the door gaskets according to the “General cleaning” section. Prop door open, so air can circulate inside. When moving, always move the freezer vertically. Do not move with the unit lying down. Possible damage to the sealed system could occur.
TroubleShooting
Freezer Does Not Operate:
- Check if the freezer is plugged in.
- Check if there is power at the AC outlet by checking from the circuit breaker.
- Monitor for 30-40 minutes and check if the freezer start working. The compressor cycle must be complete to operate.
Food temperature appears too warm:
- Frequent door openings.
- Allow time for recently added warm food to reach freezer temperature.
- Check gaskets for proper seal.
- Adjust the temperature control to a colder setting.
Food temperature is too cold:
- If the temperature control setting is too cold, adjust to a warmer setting and allow several hours for the temperature to adjust.
Freezer runs too frequently:
- This may be normal to maintain a constant temperature during high temperatures and humid days.
- The door may have been opened frequently or for an extended period of time.
- Check the gasket for a proper seal.
- Check to see if the door is completely closed.
- Check the freezer compartment for blockage from frozen food packages, containers, etc.
Freezer has an odor:
- Interior needs cleaning.
- Foods improperly wrapped or sealed are giving off odors.
