Features of this product
- This card is suitable for devices that support SDXC.
- Compared to typical SD cards, which often have different control ICs and memory elements even among cards with the same model number, operation reliability is achieved by using uniform components in these cards.

Precautions for use
This card is an SDXC memory card. Before using this card, confirm the device
that it will be used with supports SDXC memory cards with the same capacity.
Using the card
- When loading the card into the device, be sure to insert it all the way into the slot with the correct orientation.
Storage and handling
- This product is a precision electronic device. Do not bend, drop or apply strong forces or shocks to it. Moreover, never disassemble or modify it.
- Be careful not to directly touch the pins (metallic surfaces). Furthermore, do not transport or store it with metal objects.
- Do not leave it in places where it would be exposed to direct sunlight or high humidity.
- Doing so could cause it to become deformed or degraded.
- Do not allow foreign objects or liquids to adhere to it.
- Use the appropriate switch to prevent data from being written or accidentally deleted.
Notes about saving data
- Be careful when handling the card because data could be damaged (or disappear) in the following situations.
- Removing the card or turning off the power of the device being used when data is being read or written or when the card is being formatted
- Using the card in a place where it is exposed to static electricity or electrical noise
- We recommend backing up important data.
- With the exception of personal enjoyment and similar uses, in accordance with copyright, audio and video recorded by the user cannot be used without permission from the rights holders.
Notes about formatting
- This card has been formatted in advance according to SDXC memory card specifications. However, using a memory card that has had data written to its repeatedly results in file fragmentation on the card, leading to reduced writing speed. Data might not be properly recorded if a memory card that is in this state is used. To prevent this kind of condition, format the memory card beforehand with the device that it will be used in.
- Formatting a memory card will erase all the data on it. Always back up a card before formatting it. i For details about formatting, see the operation manual of the device being used or contact the product support desk of the company that makes it.
- With many devices that support SDXC memory cards, “formatting” and “erasing” functions completely erase all data on the card. The customer is responsible for dealing with the data on the card before transferring or disposing of it. Use dedicated data erasing software or physically break the card, for example.

product, including against loss of data. Furthermore, no compensation will be
provided for incidental losses due to a malfunction or flaw of this product.
WARRANTY
In the United States
WHAT IS COVERED AND WHAT IS NOT COVERED
Except as specified below, this warranty covers all defects in materials and
workmanship in this product. The following are not covered by the warranty:
- Damage to or deterioration of the external case.
- Any unit which has been altered.
- Damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from:
• accident, misuse, abuse or neglect;
• failure to follow instructions supplied with the product
• any shipment of the product (claims must be presented to the carrier);
• other devices used for writing and reading data;
• repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by TEAC to repair this product; and
• causes other than product defects, including lack of technical skill, competence or experience of the user.
WHO IS COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY
This warranty may be enforced only by the original purchaser. This warranty is
not valid if the product was purchased through an unauthorized dealer.
This warranty is valid only within the country of original sale.
LENGTH OF WARRANTY
This warranty will be effective for one (1) year from the date of the original
purchase for products.
WHAT WE WILL ASSUME
We will replace defective product with new product under the provisions of
this warranty.
Payment of shipping and insurance charges is discussed in the next section of
this warranty.
HOW YOU CAN GET WARRANTY SERVICE
Your unit must be serviced by an authorized TASCAM service station in the
United States.
(This warranty is not enforceable outside the U.S.) If you are unable to
locate an authorized TASCAM service station in your area, please contact us.
We either will refer you to an authorized service station or instruct you to
return the unit to the factory. Whenever warranty service is required, you
must present a copy of the original dated sales receipt from an Authorized
TASCAM Dealer.
You must pay any shipping charges if it is necessary to ship the product to
service.
However, if the necessary repairs are covered by the warranty, we will pay
return surface shipping charges to any destination within the United States.
LIMITATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES
Any implied warranties, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, are limited in duration to the length of this
warranty.
EXCLUSION OF DAMAGES
TEAC’s liability for any defective product is limited to repair or replacement
of the product, at TEAC’s option. TEAC shall not be liable for:
- Damages based upon inconvenience, loss of use of the product, loss of time interrupted operation or commercial loss; or
- Any other damages, whether incidental, consequential or otherwise.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts and/or do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.
