HOW TO USE YOUR HEATING PAD
Dry heat therapy —such as traditional electric heating pads or saunas—offers a fast solution for therapeutic heat and is easy to use and apply.
Moist heat therapy —such as moist heat packs, hot baths, or steamed towels— can help aid in the heat’s penetration into the muscles.
Doctors, physical therapists and sports trainers often recommend both methods as a means for soothing muscles aches and pains. Consult with your physician if you have questions regarding what type of therapy is best for your ailment.
ALWAYS USE THE INCLUDED CLOTH COVER WHILE OPERATING THIS HEATING PAD. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY INCLUDING BURNS. Read the WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS section of this manual before use and always use common sense care when operating any electrical device.
- Insert the PVC pad fully into the cloth cover; the cord and control should extend fully outside of the cover.
- Take care that the pad is flat and not folded or bunched within the cover.
- The fabric insert pad is for use with Moist Heat therapy; if Moist Heat is desired, follow the Moist Heat instructions on the next page.
- Plug the product into a standard 120-volt AC electrical outlet.
- Position the heating pad for desired treatment. The pad should always be positioned on top of—NOT UNDERNEATH—the treatment site as the temperature can increase to uncomfortable levels when the heat is trapped.
- Use the controller to set the desired temperature level and therapy time.
- Press ON/OFF to turn the pad on. The time will default to 0:30 minutes, and the heating level will default to the last temperature used.
- TIMER – Press TIMER to enter the time mode; press the UP / DOWN arrow to select 30 or 60 minute option. Press TIMER again to confirm selection.
- TEMPERATURE – PRESS THE TEMP/ARROW button up or down to scroll to the desired temperature. The temperature can be adjusted at any time during use.
- The heating pad will automatically turn off after the timer finishes. Always unplug the device when not in use.
MOIST HEAT OPTION
- Saturate the INSERT only with warm water. Do not use any gels, solvents or other liquid to saturate the fabric insert.
- Lightly wring out excess water so that the fabric insert is not dripping.
- Place the fabric insert on the PVC pad and insert the both pieces fully into the cloth cover; the cord and control should extend fully outside of the cover.
- Take care that the pad is flat and not folded or bunched within the cover.
- Dry hands thoroughly and plug the product into a standard 120-volt AC electrical outlet.
- Position the heating pad for desired treatment. The pad should always be positioned on top of—NOT UNDERNEATH—the treatment site as the temperature can increase to uncomfortable levels when the heat is trapped.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

- VINYL PAD —The vinyl pad may be wiped down as needed but should not be immersed in water
- OUTER FABRIC COVER —Machine or hand wash the outer fabric cover using a mild detergent, a gentle/delicate cycle, with cool water only. To dry, hang the outer cover or lay it flat. Do not machine dry.
