POWER SUPPLY

  • This product takes (4) AA batteries. This system will automatically convert to power-saving mode. If the display reads “BA-L”, it means the voltage is low and must be replaced as soon as possible.
  • CAUTION: When replacing the batteries, replace all the batteries at once. Never use old and new batteries together. Never use different types of batteries.

USING PERSONAL CODE TO CLOSE & OPEN THE SAFE

  • TO CLOSE: Enter any 4 to 6 digit number then press the “#” key. The word “CLOSE” will show on the display, and the safe will be closed.
  • TO OPEN: Enter any 4 to 6 digit number then the word “OPEN” will show on the display, and the safe will be opened automatically.

SETTING A PERSONAL CODE

  • You can change any personal code (4-6 digits) once the door is closed.

USING MASTER CODE TO OPEN THE SAFE

  • Enter your 6 digit master code. The word “OPEN” will show on the display, and the safe will open automatically.

SETTING THE MASTER CODE

  • Keep the door open and press “#” twice and “PROG” will show on the display. After “PROG” disappears, input the original master code (factory master code is 011223) and “NEW” will show on the display. After “NEW” disappears, input the new master code (6 digits) within 5 seconds and “AGAIN” will show on the display. After “AGAIN” disappears, input the new master code again within 5 seconds. “DONE” will show on the display. This means the master code has been changed successfully. If “ERROR” shows on the display, the new master code setting failed.

OPENING THE SAFE IN AN EMERGENCY

  • If the electronic circuit malfunctions or the code is lost or forgotten, you can use the override key to open the safe.

SECURITY FUNCTION

  • HIDE THE CODE: Press “”, to activate the code hiding function. The numbers being input within 5 seconds of the code hiding function being activated will not be visible and show as “-“. If numbers aren’t input within 5 seconds, the hiding function will be closed automatically. To restart this function, press “”. If you press “*” when you input the code after the door is closed, the code will not display.
  • AUTOMATIC LOCK: After 5 consecutive times of error codes, the system will be locked automatically. During that time, the display will show “HOLD15” if you press any button. After 15 minutes, the system will start again, allowing button entry.
