TM619 Digital Clock
The TM619 is a 7 day timer that allows up to 8 on/off functions per day. It
comes in 4 specific voltages: 12VDC, 24VACNDC, 120VAC and 240VAC. First,
please check that you have the correct voltage for the application. The
specified voltage is for the timer only. The output to your timed device goes
through the contacts of the output relay which is rated to a maximum of 16a
resistive and 8a inductive at 250VAC, 20 amps resistive at 125VAC and 16a at
30VDC.
A note on the battery: this is a CR2032 lithium battery available in most
local drug and big box stores. It will not need to be replaced for
approximately 2-3 years; it only keeps the time on the timer correct!
When the time comes to replace the battery, use a coin to remove the battery
cover to avoid stripping the plastic cover. LET’S GET STARTED!
WIRING THE TIMER:
- Terminals 1 and 2 are for power to the timer only.
- Terminals 3,4,5 bring power to the item being timed. Bringing power to terminal 3 and out of terminal 5 to your load (timed unit) will make it operate. It is recommended that the “hot” wire be cut and run into 3 and out of 5. Do not bring the hot and neutral to 3 and 5! This will cause a catastrophic failure to the timer!! This is not covered by warranty. This voltage does not need to be the same as the voltage to power the timer.
NOTE: THE VOLTAGE TO YOUR LOAD DOES NOT NEED TO BE THE SAME AS THE VOLTAGE TO POWER THE TIMER.
PROGRAMMING THE TIMER:
First, using a small pointed object push the reset button to clear all settings. The reset button is just above the “MIN” dark gray button. Setting the Clock:
- Press and hold the CLOCK BUTTON.
- Press the DAY KEY until the correct day is displayed.
- Do the same with the HOUR AND MIN. Now you have the clock set!
Setting the Timer:
There are 15 DAILY PROGRAM SETTING BUILT INTO THE TIMER. Press the “day” key
to scroll through these settings.
1. MO TU WE TH FR SA SU ← THIS IS THE 7 DAY A WEEK PROGRAM
2. ………………………….. MO
3. ……………………… TU
4. ……………………… WE
5, …………………. TH
6. …………………….. FR
7. …………………….. SA
8. ……………………. SU
9. ……………………… MO TU WE TH FR
10. …………………… SA SU
11, …………………. MO TU WE TH FR SA
12. ………………….. MO TU WE
13. ………………….. TH FR SA
14. …………………….. MO WE FR
15. ………………………. TU TH SA
These can be used to simplify programming. All times must be the same for the
days chosen!
So, instead of having to program the same daily spray cycles 7 times, you just
pick one of the pre-programmed day of the week settings and program your daily
spray cycles only once for the entire week.
Press the TIMER button. Then press the DAY button and select one of the 15
pre-programed options. #1 is pre-programmed for 7 days a week, which is the
one you want to use. After picking the pre-programmed day of week settings,
you’re now ready to set the Spray Start Times.
For every spray during the course of the day, you need to set an ON and OFF.
This does NOT affect the spray duration. So, let’s say you want your first
spray time at 7am for 30 seconds. You would set your first Spray Start Time at
7:00am and the Spray Stop Time at 7:01am.
Remember, this does NOT mean you are going to spray for one minute. The Spray
Start and Stop Times only tells the clock what time to START spraying. You
will ALWAYS use the “Misting Time Seconds” knob on your control panel to set
the desired spray duration (ex: 30 seconds).
The display will show “1 on”. Set the time you want the unit to turn on (ex:
7:00am) by pressing the “hour” and “min” buttons. Press the “timer” key again
and “1 off’ shows in the display. Set the off time for 1 minute later (ex:
7:01am). For additional cycles, press the timer key and set “2 on”, “2 off’
etc.
Press the CLOCK button once you are done.
REMEMBER: The Misting Duration is set by tuming the “Misting Time
Seconds” knob and only needs to be set once for all your Spray Start Times.
