Instruction manual
Notice
Thank you for choosing Lumicolor night light! It is easy to move around and
lights up with the colour of the surfaces on which it is placed! It also
offers a fixed white light mode and an automatic colour changing mode.
Please read this manual carefully before use.
Contents:
a cute portable Lumicolor night light, a micro USB charging cable a printed color demo card and this notice (also available on our site: www.pabobo.com.
First use/Charging
- Connect the supplied micro USB cable to the socket on the product. (A)
- Connect the other end of the cable to a USB device or to a universal charger for a direct connection to the mains. This product must be charged with a universal 5V USB adapter meeting the 60335-2-29 standard.
When connected to the power supply, the night light lights up discreetly in
red (low battery) then in green when the battery is full. In order not to
attract a child to the socket or computer, your night light only emits a very
low-intensity light when connected to a power source.
To optimise the battery life, we recommend that you leave the night light to
charge for at least 8 hours before using it for the first time.
The battery can power the night light for up to 1 month, depending on your use
(around thirty nights with a 45-minute timer or 24 hours continuously).
Mode selection
Your night light offers 3 modes, which may be selected using the side slider
(B).
Each time the mode is changed (using cursor B), the night light goes out.
Simply press the C button on the side to turn it on.
Position 1: white light. A short press on the side button (C) alternates
between low and bright light intensity.
Position 2: light with automatic colour change. Each colour remains
active for ten seconds before gently changing to the next. A short press on
the side button (C) freezes the colour (automatic change stop), pressing
again changes it to the next colour and reactivates the automatic colour
change.
Position 3: Colour detection mode. As soon as the night light is placed
on a surface, it lights up in the colour of that surface. Pressing the side
button (C) when the night light is on disables colour detection (activated by
the F button when placed on a surface), allowing the night light to be kept on
in the last colour detected.
How to turn product OFF?
To turn off the night light, just hold the side button C down for longer (more
than 2 seconds).
You can also use the built-in timer (slider D): if it is not deactivated
(off), the night light switches off automatically after 45 minutes.
It’s perfectly designed for you to let the night light go out as your child
sleeps, without having to come back and turn it off!
NOTE: if cursor B is colour detection mode (mode 3), the colour detector
will automatically activate as soon as the night light is placed on a surface
again. **To keep the night light switched off even if it is being handled and
resting on a surface, cursor B must be in mode 1 or 2.

Tips
In position 3, you can freeze a captured colour by pressing button C. To
activate the colour sensor again, briefly press button C.
To function properly, the colour sensor (E) must be placed completely flat on
the surface to be matched. If the colour to be captured is too dark or dull
(grey, dark brown, navy blue etc.), the night light cannot reproduce it and
lights up in a brighter light. Some surfaces colors can not be captured by the
sensor: this includes in a non-exhaustive way textured, transparent,
reflective, dark, patterned, multicolored, with special characteristics etc.
If the night light stays on solid red, it needs to be recharged.
Environment
The rechargeable battery cannot be replaced. Remove the battery before retiring the device.
