- Place the included key pin (or a similar needle/pin) into the hole near the motion sensor for the on/off switch.
- Push the pin once to activate the light by pressing the switch.
- Remove the solar panel’s protective film.
- Charge the solar lights outside in direct sunlight with no shade (ensure that the solar panel is exposed to direct sunlight).
- Test: after 4-5 hours of charging, cover the solar panel with your palm and see if the LED lights up.

Yes, I have six in my back yard, and they stay on as you move in front of them. They go off about 30 seconds after you leave the motion area. I’ve discovered that if you stand five feet off the ground, it will sense about ten feet away. They charge well, and my dogs enjoy playing with them.
