USER MANUAL DIGITAL LED DUO DIMMER 2494H
IMPORTANT!
- Always work SAFELY: before installing, switch off the power in the fuse box.
- This dimmer is NOT SUITABLE for 12V halogen lamps combined with a magnetic core wire wound transformer. Using this combination immediately cancels out the warranty!
This led wall dimmer is suitable for dimming the following light sources:
- Dimmable led (filament) lamps (230V, max 70W).
- Low voltage led lamps combined with dimmable led drivers (max 80W).
- Incandescent and halogen lamps (230V, max 100W).
- 12V halogen lamps combined with dimmable electronic transformers (max 80W)
CHARACTERISTICS OF THIS DIGITAL LED DUO WALL DIMMER:
- Trailing edge dimmer (’R,C’) so no humming occurs in both the dimmer and the connected LED lamps.
- The dimmer has a soft start to protect the lifetime of the applied led lamps.
- Adjusting of the MIN and MAX setting of connected light source(s). through the potentiometers [Figure E].
- The dimmer is easy to install in a single, standard flush-mounted box.
- Changeover switch circuit for both channels possible by combining the dimmers with changeover switch [Figure B or C].
REQUIRED TOOLS
- Small screwdriver.
- Stripping pliers, for stripping the wires.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

Strip the wires sufficiently (approx. 5 mm).

Connect the dimmer according to one of the figures. Without change-over switch as shown in figure A.
With change-over switch according to figure B or C. Tighten the screws so that the wires are properly clamped. -
Attention! Both contact LA and LB [see figure D] have to be connected:
- When the dimmer is connected according to figure A or B, use the brown live wires. *
- When connected according to Figure C, use black load wires to supply the lamps.

Screw the dimmer into the flush-mounted box.

Adjust the dimmer before further assembly. See “Adjusting the dimmer”.

Unscrew the nuts and washers from the dimmer shafts. Install the window and the cover plate. Screw the nut, with the washer behind it, onto the dimmer shaft and tighten it firmly. This ensures that the window clamps securely against the wall. Finally, press the rotary knobs on the shafts.
ADJUSTING THE DIMMER:

Switch on the connected light source by pressing the dimmer switch.

Set minimum brightness; Set the dimmer to the minimum setting by turning the dimmer switch to the left.
Using a small screwdriver, turn the “Min set” potentiometer [Figure E] until the lamp starts to light up softly. -
Set maximum brightness; Set the dimmer to the maximum setting by turning the dimmer switch to the right. Using a small screwdriver, turn the “Max set” potentiometer [Figure E] until the lamp lights up brightly and steadily. **

Splicing connector not included.
** If necessary, use the Tradim LED dimming stabilizer to properly dim unstable light. Art. LEDDS6001.

improper installation of the dimmer. The warranty period is 2 years from the
date of purchase, to be demonstrated by the dealership on your purchase
receipt. Version NL 1.5 (22/11/21). Keep this manual safe for
