Product Overview
How Your QUASH Works
Your QUASH Insect Trap is not like a traditional insect killer. It will eliminate irritating fruit flies, moths, mosquitos, no-see-ums and gnats from your home or office silently and easily. Its powerful, multi-band waves entice the insects, where they are sucked down inside the unit, and onto an extremely sticky glue pad, with no chance of escape. Their elimination is non-toxic and safe for humans and pets.
How To Use
- Plug your Insect Trap into a power point, computer or mobile charger/power bank.
- Press either the STANDARD or Low mode on the top of your Insect Trap (this will change the speed of the fan and the brightness of the light). Press the side button to open the base of your QUASH.
- Remove the protective layer of your glue pad to expose the sticky surface. Place sticky side up and close your QUASH.
- Place it near the fruit bowl, rubbish bin, plant or the main problem area. Turn off the lights and close the door. QUASH works best without human presence.
- Leave running overnight, and for at least 3 days initially. Resist the urge to open the base to look at the glue pad for the 3 days. Depending on how bad your infestation is, use for as long as needed.
Tips For Use
- Plan to use your QUASH at night only – insects are attracted to the UV light best seen in the dark.
- Turn off all lamps/lights, close your windows and doors. QUASH is intended for indoor use only.
- We recommend STANDARD mode whenever possible. If it’s near your bed and you find it too noisy/bright, LOW will still get the job done.
- For extra oomph when at war with gnats and fruit flies, place a small bowl of apple cider vinegar next to (or even inside) your QUASH.
Warnings & Safety Instructions
- Make sure the device is disconnected from power before cleaning.
- Clean the dead insects from the storage box regularly.
- Your QUASH is not intended for outdoor use.
- When not in use for a long time, unplug your QUASH and keep in a safe place.
- Do not clean the device with a water spray or liquids. Use a damp cloth instead.
- Do not use the device 24/7.
- Keep the device out of reach of children.
- Do not use your QUASH close to the air-conditioning or a fan. The strong wind may reduce the effect.
