INSTALLATION & UNINSTALLATION

Inflation & Deflation
Follow the instructions below for valve operation and correct inflation and deflation procedures.

  1. The board’s inflation valve is located near the nose of the board. To close off the valve for inflation, make sure that the center valve pin is in the “up” position. If it is in the “down” position, press down on the valve pin and turn it counterclockwise until it pops up.
  2. To open the valve for deflation, press down on the valve pin and turn it clockwise so it locks down. Be careful of any sand or debris around the valve area when deflating as small particles could become airborne with the release of air pressure!
  3. Always lock the valve cover over the valve stem when in use. This will prevent accidental air release and the entrance of any particles into the air chambers.

Board Inflation Steps

  1. Make sure that the valve is in the closed position (valve pin-up)
  2. Make sure the pump hose is connected to the “inflate” outlet
  3. Connect the pump nozzle into the valve receptacle.
  4. Start pumping air into the board by sliding the pump piston up and down. Tip: If the pump piston starts to squeak, apply some spray silicone on the piston shaft.

Board Deflation Steps

  1. Clear any water or debris out of the valve areas.
  2. Slowly press down on the valve stem to start letting air out of the board. There will be an initial burst of air, but that will slow down very quickly. Once the airflow has slowed down, press the valve stem all the way down and turn it clockwise to lock it into the “open” position.

Fin Installation

  1. Take out fin.
  2. Inserted the fin into the box.
  3. Put down the clip.

Adjustable Travel Paddle
For carrying convenience, the paddle can be separated into smaller halves. Be careful to not pinch your fingertips when connecting the two paddle shafts. The paddle will require periodic adjustment to prevent paddle shaft slippage. ALWAYS rinse the paddle with fresh water after use and take the paddles apart to dry and store.

Uninstall & Repack Uninstall

  1. Remove the fin.
  2. Unscrew the valve cover.
  3. Press the valve needle to deflate.
  4. There is still a lot of gas in the plate after natural deflation, manually press the gas.
  5. Connect the air pump suction device, pull out the gas until the plate is compressed.
  6. Pull out the air pump hose, screw on the valve cover.

Repack

  1. Fold from the beginning of the board.
  2. Continue regular folding until it is close to the end of the board.
  3. Similarly, fold the tail of the board.
  4. Board is folded in half.
  5. Fasten the board with the elastic band, adjust the elastic band to the tight state.
  6. Put the packed board into the backpack.

MAINTENANCE

Board Maintenance
Sun, sand, and saltwater will degrade any material over time. Rinse off sand and saltwater deposits from your paddle board, paddle and pump with fresh water and store in a cool, dry environment after each use.
DO NOT LEAVE IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT
Never leave the paddle board exposed to direct sunlight when out of the water. Always keep in the shade when not in the water. If you must expose your board to direct sunlight during transport or temporary storage, it is safest to keep the (bottom) facing up.
RECOMMENDED PRESSURE 15 PSI
This board can hold up to 23 PSI pressure. Recommended is 15 PSI, as the board will remain rigid and no further benefit is gained with additional inflation. If inflated above 15 PSI, and then the board is placed in direct sunlight then the pressure will increase from the heat causing overinflation and damage to seams. Damage resulting from heat is not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty!
Pump Maintenance
Please be sure that before and during use, the pump is fully lubricated with oil. To lubricate, open the top and spread a thin layer of oil grease on the gasket and tube. Regularly clean the air filter located inside the top under the gauge. The gauge unscrews from the top. Occasionally the pump may need cleaning internally. This is especially true if used in sandy conditions.

  1. Unscrew the top of the pump.
  2. Gently pull out the entire push rod, collar, and piston. This all comes out together.
  3. Rinse out the pump body and clean it with mild, soapy water.
  4. Wipe the rim of the piston then lightly grease with a silicone-based lubricant
  5. Insert the piston and screw on the top.

Repairing Trouble Shooting

  • If your board appears to have lost air, first check that the valve is tightly shut and not leaking. Use the provided valve wrench (see photo below). Note: if the temperature has cooled or you have been operating in waters colder than ambient temperature (as stated above); this may cause the pressure to decrease. If either of these has occurred, add air to return the board to nominal pressure.
  • If you suspect a leak, visually inspect the board. Some punctures are obvious. If you cannot easily detect any leaks apply mildly soapy water around the board and valve areas. Each will produce bubbles.
  • The board comes equipped with an emergency repair kit for small leaks and/or tears. To avoid cement irritation of the skin, wear latex gloves.

Directions for repair

  1. Completely deflate the paddle board.
  2. Thoroughly clean the surface around the leak and the mating side of the PVC/Polyester Patch with rubbing alcohol. Both surfaces must be free of moisture, oil and debris.
  3. Open the cement tube by breaking the tube seal using the point in the tube cap.
  4. Apply cement carefully and evenly to the paddle board surface and matte side patch surface. Do not contact with skin & eyes. Do not breathe cement vapors.
  5. Allow cement on both board and patch to dry to the touch. Once dry, reapply a very thin layer of cement around the perimeter of the patch.
  6. Once cement on both board and patch becomes tack-free, apply a patch to board and work out any trapped air bubbles with a rolled clean cloth.
  7. Allow 8 hours for the cement to cure before inflating the paddle board.

*The black wrench included in the repair kit should only be used for the tightening of leaking valves. If you hear air escaping from the valve area, tighten the valve by turning clockwise —only when the board is fully inflated. Do not use a spanner to deflate your board.
Because of its danger and inflammability, the repair glue/cement is not included in the repair kit. Should you need to repair your paddle board, please source the glue/cement from a local store, or you can contact us for a free one, after a short registration by scanning here.

TIPS FOR TRANSPORTING

DO NOT TRANSPORT AN INFLATED PADDLEBOARD ON TOP OF A VEHICLE!

Damage incurred by improper transport is not covered by the warranty!
When transporting the board, be sure to keep clear of sharp objects.
Punctures, scratches, and tears are not covered by the warranty!
Keep the board clear of heat such as camp stoves, propane lamps, etc.
Damage resulting from heat is not covered by the warranty!
Allow the board to completely dry before tightly rolling for packing. Excess moisture may cause mildew or mold damage.
Damage resulting from mold is not covered by the warranty!
