Dear user, before your first use, please read this user’s guide and follow the safety tips and instructions for use. Inform any potential users of these instructions. Retain this manual for future use. Also retain all packaging when unboxing the appliance.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The “OPEN BOOK” symbol indicates a recommendation to read the important information found in the manual.
The crossed out “TRASH CAN” symbol with the acronym DEEE (“Déchet d’Equipement Electrique et Electronique” or “Electric and Electronic Equipment Waste”) indicates that at the end of its life, it must not be disposed of with household waste, but instead dropped off at a local recycling centre. Waste reclamation allows us to  reserve our environment.
The “CE branding” symbol guarantees compliance with the non-mandatory harmonised European Standards, which communicates the essential requirements in technical specifications. These standards are not obligatory but guarantee compliance with the essential requirements.
The ROHS symbol (Restriction of use of cer- tain Hazardous Substances) relating to environmental protection certifies that the maximum concentration of each of the 5 dangerous substances (mercury • lead • hexavalent chromium • PBB and PBDE flame retardants) is equal to or less than 0.1% of the weight of the homogeneous material, and 0.01% for the sixth (cadmium).
Icon The “DOUBLE SQUARE” symbol indicates double insulation, both primary insulation and additional insulation.
This appliance does not need to be grounded to a protective earthing conductor. The double insulation materials used are class II.
The “GLASS/FORK” symbol indicates that the appliance is compatible with and can come into contact with food.
The “TRIMAN” symbol indicates that the consumer is invited to deliver their products to a separate collection for recycling (for example a recycling bin, a local dump, or a voluntary waste drop-off station).

CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THE PRODUCT
This marking indicates that this appliance should not be disposed with other household wastes. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from  ncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources .

WARNING

At Sweety Fox, not only do we wish that you child enjoys himself whilst eating, but also that preparing baby’s food is a simple and nice experience for you. In this manual, we are going to start by the beginning by presenting to you the important security warning. It would be such as shame that you hurt yourself and disappoint your child that has been waiting for one only thing since you have placed your order: EN-JO-YING FOOD.

  • Check if the voltage indicated on the bottom of the appliance corresponds to the local voltage.
  • Do not use this appliance it the plug, the main cord or the appliance itself is damaged.
  • If the main cord is damaged, you must have it replaced by qualified people.
  • If the blade gets stuck, unplug the appliance before cleaning it.
  • To avoid scalding, please do not touch the water tank nor the stirring cup as those element can reach high temperature. Always touch the stirring cup by its handle.
  • Please be careful with the steam emitted from the stirring cup when steaming and opening of the cup. Temperatures can be very high. Because guess what ? Steaming is hot and can burn! So please be careful!
  • Please make sure the stirring cup is placed in the right position, or else the security system will prevent the appliance from operating.
  • Be careful when pouring water in the water tank or when cleaning the appliance. Too much water could cause short-circuits.
  • Remember to always test the food by hand before feeding you child.
  • After steaming, if you need to add other ingredients, please wait for the stirring cup to cool down before opening it. Respect the maximum capacity of food indicated on the cup: 300ml.
  • Empty the water tank and fill it with purified water before starting steaming.
  • Do not use accessories or parts produced by other manufacturers as this would invalid the warranty.
  • Do not immerse the main body in water. This is an electric appliance.
  • Do not put the appliance on or near the stove.
  • Do not use a sterilizer or a microwave to disinfect the stirring cup are it is made of elements not suitable for these methods (handle and blade).
  • Only use this appliance for the purposes indicated in this manual. Any other use would invalid the warranty in case of damage caused.
  • Place the appliance on a stable, flat surface and make sure it is well isolated to avoid the steam damaging your cabinet.
  • Never start steaming with an empty water tank.
  • Do not lift or move the appliance when operating.
  • Do not insert any object in the water inlet or the steam outlet.
  • We recommend that you do not add water to the water tank when steaming. Hot water or steam can be ejected from the tank.
  • Once cooked, check the food consistency.
  • The steaming lasts for about 15 min. If you need to steam some more, please wait at least 3 min before starting another steaming cycle.
  • Bones and nuts can not be stirred in this appliance.
  • Do not stir the food for more than 15 seconds at a time. Wait 10 seconds before restarting stirring.
  • Nothing new under the sun, blades can cut ! so be very careful when manipulating them : emptying the bowl or during cleaning.
  • If you pour hot liquid into the stirring cup, be careful, steam can eject liquid.
  • Switch off and unplug the appliance after use. Keep it off during assembling, cleaning and disassembling.
  • Keep the appliance out of children’s reach.
  • This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction regarding the use of the appliance and if they understand the hazards involved.

    Time display: During “Steam” and “Disinfect/Defrost/Reheat”, the panel will display the operation time.
    During “Stir”, “Pulse” and “Automatic Cleaning”, the panel will display rotating dashes.
    Time increase: The operation time can be increased manually. Time reduction : The operation time can be increased manually.
    Disinfect/Defrost/Reheat: Press once on “Disinfect/Defrost/Reheat” and the panel will display “10min”. The appliance start operating. You can adjust operation time if needed.
    Pulse: This functionality is used for Stirring manually. Press the button and it starts stirring, release it and it stops.
    Steam: Press once on this button and the panel will display “15 min”. Steaming is in operation. You can adjust the time if needed.
    Automatic cleaning: Press once on this button and the cleaning cycle will start after a few seconds.
    Stir: Stirring operates by cycle. When the stirring cycle is finished, the stirring stops automatically.
    Power Switch: When the appliance is plugged in, the power button light is red. To Switch on the appliance, press 5 seconds on the button. The light becomes white. This button can stop any functionality at any time. To turn off the appliance, press 5 seconds on this button.

DIRECTIONS OF USE

  1. PREPARATION
    • It is recommended to steam twice, with nothing in the steaming basket, before the first use.
    • To fill in the water tank, take off the lid, pour purified or distilled water in the tank up to the maximum capacity indicated. Turn the lid on the tank to close it.
    Caution: Do not use tap or mineral water. This can cause scale deposits to appear in the tank. Please respect the maximum limit indicated on the tank.

This 7-in-1 Baby Food Cooker is specifically made to help you make fresh food for your baby. It will be perfect for the parent that you are. Two options:
• You are a beginner chef: let the appliance and its automatic functions do the job for you.
• You are a seasoned super chef: the manual functions will allow you to obtain the result you have been waiting for.
Reheat Either way: here are our best tips on how to use your Baby Food Cooker.
• The appliance is equipped with safety system. if the assembling is not properly done, all functions won’t start.
• The appliance is equipped with overheating protection. If the appliance stops operating, it might because of overheating. Unplug it and let it cool down for a few minutes before using it again.
Steam
1. Fill in the tank with 200ml of purified water (fig.1 and fig.2). Press 5 seconds on the Power Switch, then start the Disinfect mode to sterilize the stirring cup..
2. Once sterilisation is over, fill in the water tank again up to the maximum. You can adjust the water quantity to the food that you need to steam (steaming time differs from one consistency to the other). The greater the water quantity, the longer the steaming will last.
3. Take off the stirring cup lid by turning it clockwise (fig.3 and fig.4).
4. Place the food inside the steaming basket. Cut the solid food into small pieces (max 1.5cm) (fig.5).SWEETY FOX BFP 1800E Baby Food Cooker -
Steam Do not steam a large quantity of solid food at a time.
5. Place the steaming basket inside the stirring cup and cover with the lid. To do so, turn the stirring cup counterclockwise (the logo ‘>’ of the stirring cup lid should be aligned to the logo ‘<’ of the handle (fig. 6 and fig. 7).
6. Place the stirring cup in the main body. To fix it, turn it clockwise (the handle needs to be alignedto the logo “close ” on the main body). Your appliance is ready for steaming !
7. Press “Steam” and determine the steaming time (+ and -) (fig.8 and fig.9).SWEETY FOX BFP 1800E Baby Food Cooker - Steam 1 If there are small chunks stick to the cup wall,please switch the appliance off and then take the small chunks out with a spoon.
Pulse
1. Take the steaming basket off of the stirring cup. Take the cooked food and place them in the stirring cup. Add any ingredient to complete your recipe (water, sugar, milk …). Close the cup with its lid and replace the stirring cup into the main body.
2. If you wish to stir automatically, press the “Stir” mode. the automatic cycle will start. If you wish to stir manually, press “Pulse”. Keep pressing to keep the appliance operating (stirring time shouldn’t exceed 15 seconds – Stir in various times).
3. The puree is completed, check the consistency and the temperature before feeding your child.
Automatic Cleaning
1. The stirring cup can be colored by the food. Thankfully, your super Baby Food Cooker has an automatic cleaning mode.
2. Once you emptied the stirring cup, fill in the cup with water up to the “MAX CLEANING” limit (fig.13). Cover the cup with the Spill-proof cover (D) and then its classic cover. Cleaning Disinfect/Reheat/Defrost
1. The stirring cup must be clean. Please clean it first if needed.
2. Place the different objects to sterilize in the steaming basket first and then in the stirring cup and start the Disinfect mode.
3. To defrost food or reheat meal, do the same.

  1. END OF OPERATION
    1. Once you’ve finished using the Baby Food Cooker, empty the water tank. Then start the “Steam” mode to dry out the water tank.
    2. Press 5 seconds on the Power Switch to switch off the appliance.
    3. Unplug the appliance if you’re done using it.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  1. CAUTION
    • We highly recommend you to clean your appliance right after use.
    • Do not immerse the appliance in water.
    • Don’t use chemicals for the appliance.
    • Do not use abrasive cleansers or corrosive liquid (such as acetone or alcohol) to clean the appliance.

  2. CLEANING METHODS
    • Use the automatic cleaning mode to ease the cleaning process.
    • Switch off the appliance and take the stirring cup out.
    • Take off the lid.
    • Take off the blades from the stirring cup. To do so, the blade holder under the cup must be turnt clockwise, and maintain the blade holder inside the cup fix.
    • Clean the blade under the tap immediately after use.
    • Do the same with all stirring cup parts.
    • Dry the elements with a dry cloth.
    • The various elements are dishwasher proof except for the main body. Make sure to dry the blades immediately after the dishwashing.

WATER TANK CLEANING AND DESCALING

  • Pour special appliance descaler or white vinegar into the water tank (¼ descaling solution and ¾ purified water).
  • Place the stirring cup in the appliance and start “Steam” mode.
  • After 5 to 6 min of steaming, stop the operation.
  • Empty the water tank.
  • Clean the water tank and the stirring cup.
  • Before using the appliance again, steam once with an empty cup to eliminate potential remaining odors.
  • Keep the water tank as dry as possible to prevent bacterial growth.

FAULT ANALYSIS AND DIAGNOSIS

You can register online at www.sweetyfox.com for your warranty. Repairs or replacements are made at the seller’s discretion. If repairs are not possible, the seller will replace the product/piece. If repairs are unsuccessful, the seller may refund the price of the appliance or piece.
Product defects covered by the warranty assume normal usage of the product. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for damage caused by improper use or negligence, failure to follow specifications or instructions provided in this manual, or repairs by an unauthorised third party.
