Important Precautions
- Please read this manual carefully, and use the product according to the manual. We are not held liable for any loss or injury caused by improper use.
- This model applies to vinyl and steel walled above ground swimmingpools.
- Please do not allow children play with it as a toy.
- Contains strong magnets. Keep away from, mobile phones, magnetic media such as hard drives and other electronic devices.
- Always make sure the product is thoroughly dry before inserting batteries.
- If the product is not going to be used for longer than one month, remove the batteries, clean them and store lights and remote control to prevent discharge and corrosion.
- Thoroughly air-dry all pieces prior to storage.
- The product does not tolerate temperatures under 6ºC and must be removed and stored in a frost-free and dry place, as indicated above.
Introduction:
The pool light is specially designed for above ground vinyl and steel walled pools. It uses an internal magnet to affix the light to the inside of the pool wall. Easy to install and remove.
Quick start instruction
Open:
Grip firmly, pressure and turn the top clear cover counterclockwise to open.
Insert batteries:
Lift the battery cover off the tab (zoomed in the illustration above) to open
it easily Insert 3 AA batteries (not included).
Note:
Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard or
rechargeable batteries
Close:
Place the battery cover and match the tabs at the bottom, as illustrated by
the oval circle. Then place the clear cover by turning it clockwise until
tight. Make sure the gasket is clean, lubricated with silicone grease and
properly sealed
Remote control:
Remove the tab to activate the battery. Insert a #2025 button cell battery
(comes preinstalled). The remote can control within 1.2m distance.
Remote operation:
Point the remote directly at the light unit. This is important when the unit
is submerged in a swimming pool.
Setup:
Put in the water no deeper than 25cm.
- A) The LED lights comes with steel plate (AA) for vinyl pools and can only be used for vinyl pools with a maximum 5 mm thickness.
- B) The magnetic LED light can be mounted directly on the steel wall without the steel plate.
Secure:
Ensure that LED light is fully and evenly sealed on to the gasket before
submerging. Failure to properly seal unit will cause leaks, which will destroy
the light and void the warranty
Warning: The remote control is not waterproof. Do not submerge
Winter storage
During the winter season when the outside temperatures fall below 6°C unit should be removed to prevent damage from freezing water. Store it inside in a dry and frost free location.horoughly air-dry all pieces prior to storage. Remove the batteries, clean them and store lights and remote control to prevent discharge and corrosion.
Limited warranty
We guarantee that all parts are free of defects in materials and workmanship
for a period of two years from the date of purchase. The warranty covers only
material or manufacturing defects that prevent the product from being able to
be installed or operated in a normal way. Defective parts will be replaced or
repaired.
The warranty does not cover transportation damage, any use other than what is
intended, damage caused by incorrect assembly or improper use, damage caused
by impact or other error, or by improper storage. The warranty becomes void if
the user modifies the product.
The warranty does not include product-related damage, property damage or
general operational loss. The manufacturer’s liability cannot exceed the
repair or replacement of defective parts and does not include labour costs to
remove and reinstall the defective part, transportation costs to and from the
service center, and all other materials necessary to carry out the repair
Limitation of liability
This is the only warranty provided by the manufacturer. No one is authorised
to make any other warranties on our behalf. This warranty is in lieu of all
other warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to any
implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose and saleability. We
expressly disclaim all liability for consequential damage, accidental damage,
indirect loss or loss related to a breach of the expressed or implied
warranty.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, which may vary by country.
Complaints – In the event of any warranty claim a valid purchase receipt
must be presented.
