Product Usage Instructions

1. Locating Your Finder

1.1 Find Finder When It’s Nearby:

  1. Open Find My app or Find Items app on your Apple Watch.
  2. Select your Finder from the list.
  3. Tap Play Sound to make your Finder beep.
  4. Tap Stop Sound once you locate your Finder.

1.2 Find Finder’s Location:

  1. Open Find My app or Find Items app on your Apple Watch.

  2. Select your Finder from the list.

  3. Your Finder’s location will be displayed on the Map with a time
    stamp.

  4. To navigate, tap Directions to open Apple Maps.

2. Notifications

2.1 Enabling Notify When Left Behind:

  1. Open Find My app or Find Items app on your Apple Watch.
  2. Select your Finder from the list.
  3. Enable Notify When Left Behind to receive notifications when
    your Finder is left behind.

2.2 Enabling Notify When Found:

  1. Under Notifications, enable Notify When Found to receive
    notifications when your Finder is found by another device.

  2. Note: Activate when Finder is out of range.

3. When Your Finder Is Lost

3.1 Enabling Lost Mode:

4. Resetting Finder

4.1 Remove The Finder From Find My App:

  1. Open Find My app and select the Items tab.

  2. Select your Finder from the list and ensure Lost Mode is
    disabled.

  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Remove Item to confirm.

4.2 Connect Your Finder:

  1. After removal, press the Finder’s function button four times
    rapidly then hold it a fifth time until you hear a chime.

  2. The Finder is now reset and ready for pairing with a new Apple
    ID.

FINDER ITEM

Important tips: When pairing a device with Find My® app, the phone will link to the Apple® Server . Pairing may fail because of network problems. The following actions are recommended: Change the phone’s network, such as switching between WiFi and mobile network.

01. Locate Your Finder

Enabling “Notify When Left Behind”:
Open Find My app and select the “Items” tab or open the Find ltems app on your Apple Watch. Tap on your Finder from the list. Under “Notifications” enable the “Notify When Left Behind” toggle. You will receive a notification when you leave your Finder behind and it’s no longer in range of your device.

Enabling “Notify When Found”:
Under “Notifications”, enable the “Notify When Found” toggle. When your Finder is seen by another Find My network device, you will receive a notification of its location. Note :” Notify When Found” can only be activated when your Finder is out of range.

03. When Your Finder Is Lost
03.1 Enabling “Lost Mode”:

Open Find My app and select the “Items” tab or open the Find ltems app on your Apple Watch. Tap on your Finder from the list. Under “Lost Mode” tap “Enable” A screen detailing Lost Mode will pop up, tap “Continue” Enter your phone number or email address and tap “Next”. You may enter a message that will be shared with the person that finds your item. Tap “Activate” to enable “Lost Mode” Note: When “Lost Mode” is enabled, “Notify When Found” is automatically enabled. Note: When” Lost Mode” is enabled, your Finder is locked and cannot be paired to a new device.

Resetting Finder
Remove The Finder From Find My App:
Open Find My app and select the “Items” tab. Tap on your Finder from the list. please ensure “Lost Mode” is disabled. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap “Remove ltem”. A summary will open, tap “Remove” to confirm.

Connect Your Finder
After successfully removing the Finder from Find My app, press the Finder’s function button four times rapidly and then hold it a fifth time until you hear a ringing chime. The Finder is now reset and ready to be paired to a new Apple ID.

05.1 Unwanted tracking:
If any Find My network accessory separated from its owner is seen moving with you over time, you’ll be notified in one of two ways:
1. lf you have an iPhone, iPad®, Find My will send a notification to your Apple device.This feature
is available on iOS or iPadOS 14.5 or later.
2. lf you don’t have an ios device or a smartphone, a Find My network accessory that isn’t with its owner for a period of time will emit a sound when it’s moved.
These features were created specifically to discourage people from trying to track you without your knowledge.

1.Press and hold the button for about 3 seconds until the device emits a prompt sound, then the device powers on. Press and hold again to power off the device. Short press the button four times, then press and hold on the fifth time until you hear a prompt sound to reset the device.

7.Click “Agree” to complete the connection, then click “Play sound.” When the device emits a sound, it indicates successful connection. Click again to turn off the sound. Keep the phone’s network signal smooth during the connection process. If the connection fails, move to an area with a smooth network signal, press and hold the device button to power it off, then repeat the above steps.

8.After successfully connecting the device, you can view it in the item list. Repeat the above steps to add multiple devices. Click on the item to enter the device menu, and slide the menu to view various functions. When the item is lost, enable Lost Mode and follow the app’s instructions.

9. To remove the device, click on the corresponding device in the item list of the Find app, scroll to the bottom of the menu, click “Remove item,” confirm, then wait. After the device emits a prompt sound, the removal is complete. Ensure a smooth network signal and that the device is close to the phone during the removal process, otherwise, removal may fail.
