Product Usage Instructions
Installation
Follow the installation drawing provided in the manual for proper cable entry and placement of the temperature switches.
Ordering Information
To order flameproof temperature switches, specify the following groups:
- Group 1: Non-standard allocation
- Group 2: Model
- Group 3: Cable Entry Size
- Group 4: Switch Type
- Group 5: Range Code
- Group 6: Microswitch Type
- Group 7: Temp. Bulb Material/Size
- Group 8: Capillary Material/Size
Adjustable Differential
If an adjustable differential is required, select microswitches A6 or C6 in group 6.

Approximate Maximum for “A1” microswitch
T1H| 25 to 90| 15.0| 150.0
(77 to 194)| (59)| (302)
T2H| 70 to 150| 20.0| 200.0
(158 to 302)| (68)| (392)
T3H| 120 to 215| 30.0| 300.0
(248 to 419)| (86)| (572)
Note
- The minimum differential increases with the setpoint. The differential values mentioned in the above table are the approximate maximum for FSR. The differential value will vary according to the pressure range selected and the microswitch type. For actual values of differential please contact the sales office.
- When using a 2SPDT switching arrangement, both microswitches may not actuate and/or deactivate at the same point. A small stage gap, normally up to +/- 5% FSR (depending on range code) may be observed. The On-Off differential (hysteresis) typically tends to be at least double those published for 1SPDT pressure switches.
If actuation and/or deactivation at the same point is a critical part of the operation, then it can be achieved by using a separate DPDT relay. This relay will need a separate power supply for its coil.
HOW TO ORDER FLAMEPROOF TEMPERATURE SWITCHES
Please specify a full model number to avoid ambiguity.
FAQ
Q: Can the differential values be adjusted?
A: For adjustable differential, select microswitches A6 or C6 in group 6 during the ordering process.
Q: What is the maximum working temperature of the switches?
A: The maximum working temperature ranges from 150.0°C to 300.0°C, depending on the selected range code.
