NACS EV Charging Connector
Open the charging port. The charging port is located on the left side of the
Model S, and the rear door is part of the rear taillight assembly. Park the
Model S to ensure that the charging cable easily reaches the charging port.
Once the Model S enters the Park, press and release the button on the Volex
charging line to enable the radio remote to open the charging port door.
Please note that if the charging cable is near the charging port door, the
charging port door can be opened by pressing the button on the charging cable
even if the Model S is locked or not within the range of the identification
key.
