User Manual

Test Device For Opener Compatibility

1. Power up the garage device, the red light, and blue light flash alternatively.
2. Use the included Red & Black wire to connect the device to your opener; Put each end to the same terminals as the wall button wires are terminated to.
3. Use a tiny screw or nail to click the button in the device, your garage door should activate.
4. Three type power supply mode (default power supply is AC1 00~250V)
   (1) AC100~250V (2) DC5V (3) DC9~36V

If this test fails, your device may not be compatible. For additional installation instructions and the list of compatible models, please check it from another’s User manual and contact us online directly.
Test OK! Click the button every time, the garage door will open or close.

Below are a checklist before using the device:

• Your smartphone or tablet should have connected a 2.4G WiFi with the internet.
• The device only supports 2.4G Wi-Fi. If you use a5G router (it provides two Wi-Fi signals: SG and 2.4G), please select the 2.4G WiFi to connect your smartphone.
• Download one of the APPs: “Tuya Smart” APP or “Smart Life” APP from the APP Store or Google Play store.
• During the pairing process, make sure that your IOS or Android device and the garage are within the range of your WiFi router.
• Make sure your router is MAC-open. If not, please cancel the router’s MAC filtering setting first.

Add Device

The garage door will be activated when added successfully (when the blue LED stops blinking), so keep your door closed first.

1. Power up the garage, the red light, and blue light flash alternatively.
2.  Launch APP, tap the icon “+” on the right top.
3. Select the “Electrical” Select “Smart Garage Door Opener” type.
4. Tap “Confirm indicator rapidly blink”
5. Input the correct 2.4G WiFi passwords. Then, tap Confirm.
6. It will auto-connect with the device. Once the process is completed, it will prompt you that you can rename the device. Enter a new name and Save.

The APP can add many types of devices.

Note:(AP Mode Connection)

If a connection failed under a normal connection, and it maybe is a network problem. You can now be connected with the following steps: “AP MODE”

1. Press the “on/off” button for 5 seconds and make sure your device’s light is flashing slowly.

2. Tap the icon”+”on the right top,then select the”electric”,then select the “Smart Gargae Door Opener”type.

3. Go to the upper right corner and press”Other Mode”, then choose AP Mode.

4. Check if the connection light is flashing slowly. Press “Confirm slowly blink.”Then select your 2.4GHz networks, and enter wifi password confirm.
   

5. Then the screen will show “connect your mobile phone to the device’s hotspot”.Press “Go to connect” and it will connect.
   The screen will jump to your phone’s settings wifi connection, so enter the phone”Wi-Fi”.

6. Now, you will see the mobile phone WIFI. There will be a connection option: “Smartlife-XXX”, select it. In the tap that your wifi is already connected to, it will take, “Smartlife-XXX” on it and return to the “Smartlife The APP” Screen, and you will see the connection percentage.

7. Waiting until the connection is successful.

Do this installation After you successfully add the device to your app.
*Make sure your garage door is closed before installation.

EASY INSTALLATION

1st Step: Power up.

2nd Step: Connect to the wall console.

Insert the Red & Black wire 2.0mm terminal to the garage, then put each end to the same terminals as the wall button wires are terminated.

3rd Step: Connect to the garage door.

Insert the 2.0mm terminal of the sensor to the garage, then steady install the sensor and the magnet of the gap within 3mm to 15mm on your garage door with screws/bracket/3M gums/wall nail/line holders/ties.

If it is hard to install with screws, you can also use the 3M gums to finish.
If you are worried about the steady, you can use both screws and 3M gums.

Works With Alexa

1. Open Alexa App, tap on the menu in the upper left corner. Go to Skills.
2. Enter “Tuya Smart” or “Smart Life” in the search field and search.
3. Tap “Tuya Smart” or “Smart Life”
4. Enable the skill.
5. Enter your account information and tap on ‘Log in’ to link your account to your Amazon account. If your account is a phone number, you should select your country. If your account is an email address, please select a random  country/region code “Hey google (device name}” OK g0ogle, (device name}” Voice commands:
   “Alexa open {device name}”
   “Alexa close {device}”
   “Alexa is {device name} open ?”

Note:

1. Only support USA Alexa account.
2. Must be set the voice password, which you can use operator the garage door opener.

More Setting: Create a PIN code to open by voice, then enter ALL DEVICES to select garage door. Setting the voice command, which you can perform a series of actions.

Works With Google Home

1. Launch the Google Home app, tap the menu.
2. Tap Home control
3. under Devices, tap the + icon.
4. Tap”Tuya Smart” or “Smart Life”
5. Enter your account information and tap on ‘log in’ to link your account to your Amazon account. If your account is a phone number, you should select your country. If your account is an email address, please select a random country/region code. Voice commands:
   “Hey google open (device name}”
   OK g0ogle, close( device}” )Open or Close

Note:

1. Clear cache of setting from “Tuya Smart” or “Smart life”
2. Enter notice of wifi garage door opener and set passwork.（the password is only used for google home)

Works With iFTTT

1. Launch IFTTT app, tap Search. Enter “Tuya Smart” or “Smart Life” to search.
2. Enter “Tuya Smart” or “Smart Life” page
3. Then you’ll need to enter your account and log in.
4. Go to My Applets, tap “+” to create your own applet.
