AbleNet B000OFQUU0 Dual Switch Latch and Timer
Product Overview
Required but not included:
- Single Switch(es)
- 9-Volt Alkaline Battery
- Switch Adapted Toy or Appliance
Use
Most switches give switch users momentary control of their switch adapted toys or appliances. Meaning, when you press your switch, your toy or appliance will operate only for the time that you are holding down the switch. The Dual Switch Latch and Timer gives switch users more control of their devices by adding time and latch modes of control.
Setup
- Install 9-Volt Battery
- Plug switch in Switch 1 – In jack or Switch 2 – In jack.
- If your switch is plugged into Switch 1 – In jack then plug built-in cable into your switch adapted toy or appliance. If your Switch is plugged into Switch 2 – In jack then use Plug to Plug Adapter to go from the Dual Switch Latch and Timer to your switch adapted Toy or appliance.
- Chose your mode of control using the Mode Switch.
- Adjust the time you want your toy or appliance to operate with the Timer Adjust knob when in Timed Sec Mode and Timed Min Mode.
Modes, Tips, and Tricks
- Timed Seconds – The Timed Seconds mode allows for the toy or appliance to run for a preset amount of time with a single activation.
- Timed Minutes – This mode behaves exactly like the Timed Seconds mode, but uses minutes rather than seconds.
- Latch – One activation of a switch turns the toy or appliance on; the second activations turns it off. Use the Latch mode when you want a toy or appliance to remain on indefinitely.
You can setup two switches into the Switch Latch and timer. The switches will operate their corresponding toy or appliance independently of each other in the same mode of control. The Timer Adjust knob shows approximately how long the toy or appliance will activate. It is not an exact indication
