Printer Guide

Note: We recommend using a power adapter that gets CCC certificated and meets standard requirements.

Specification:

1. One-piece thermal label tape is for the YINLIFUN printer exclusively.
2. The printer doesn’t recognize another label tape if it’s not YINLIFUN

Basic Operation

1. Push uncover button to open cover

2. Insert YINLIFUN label tape, and close the cover to fasten up.

3. Long press the power button to turn the printer on.

4. Use APP to connect with YINLIFU printer, set label size.

5. Choose the template of label you buy.
   

6. Edit label contents then tap print.

Description of Indicator Light

Fault Diagnosis

1. The printer feeds out labels only, no data is printed.
   Check the APP demo page if printing is normal.
   If the demo page works, please check the label tape or APP. If not, it means the printer breaks down.

2. Vague printing
   Check print darkness, the default value is 6 brings better effect.
   If a line appears or printing goes blank without any data, please check if print head gets dirty and clean it with alcohol.

3. The printer can’t stop feeding out labels during feed function or printing
   If the feed label is 200mm long, and the label gap still can’t be detected, there are three possible states.
   Please check label type, only DeTong YINLIFUN label tape is compatible.
   If the printer can’t stop feeding and coughing, it’s because the label roll runs out, please replace a new roll.
   If this fault still remains, it means the printer breaks down.

4. Warn “No Paper” suddenly during the printing process
   Please check if the label runs out.
   Many kinds of protection are designed to ensure the printer’s reliability, like “No Paper”, “Paper Cover is Open”, “Data Error”, “Over Temperature”, and “Low Battery”. Please refer to different warnings from APP to analyze the reasons specifically.

Warnings

• Please make sure the label cartridge is clean before using the printer. Dirty label cartridge may damage the print head, please clean the cartridge and print head by alcohol.
• Please turn off the printer immediately when it breaks down.
• Please do not disassemble by yourself because complex circuits and devices inside this printer.
• Please charge the printer in a cool and ventilated place.
• Please do not expose the printer and power adapter to high temperature, high humidity or in the water. Otherwise, short-circuit may cause the battery getting heat, smoke, deformation, damage even an explosion. Please disconnect power when the power adapter touches water or other fluid. Please remove the charger immediately when the printer or charger emits smoke or smelliness, and be aware of getting scalded.
• Please do not press, mechanical vibrate or shake the printer and power adapter, disassemble or refit the power adapter. And use a broken power cable may cause electric shock, fire and damage of the power adapter.
• Please hold the power adapter when you disconnect the plug, the power cable will be broken if pull it directly.
•  Please do not use printers near a petrol station, fuel depots or other inflammable.

Safety Notices

• We recommend use a power adapter that gets CCC certificated and meets standard requirements.
• Please do not disassemble by yourself; Do not open the paper cover during the printing process; Print head is still heated, do not touch it after the printing process, be aware of getting scalded.
• Please put the printer and power adapter in a room-temperature and ventilated place.
• Please use a clean and soft cloth to wipe the printer lightly, do not use solutes, corrosive chemicals or detergents, like benzene and diluents.
•  Please turn off the printer when using the power adapter to charge.
• High or low temperatures would lead to poor printing quality.
• Please contact after-service when the battery can’t meet the performance requirement.
• Please use DeTong’s original label to avoid poor printing quality or damage of the print head.
• Printing retention time is related to label quality, please use the long-lasting thermal label for longer retention.

These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation.
This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.  Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
